It’s real books so will have to dust the top to keep the paper fresh. Really lovely though. I laid a pair of old reading glasses on top for some charm.

Very poor presentation! Yellowed, faded, stringy
These books took a month to arrive, which I did not anticipate, and when they did the books pages were completely yellowed, the “home sweet home” stamp was faded, and the bow was stringy and falling apart. I requested a return and was told I’d have to pay a restocking fee. It was not worth an argument for the price of the product, but pictures do NOT accurately represent this product. If you’re looking for a more put together presentation, go elsewhere!
