Swimovate Unisex's PoolMate2

Purchased this watch for my wife who is a competitive swimmer. When it arrived it was not working. No matter what we did it did not work. We considered returning it but then had it checked out. It turns out they shipped it with a dead battery. Surely they can do better and do a simple check to see it the watch is working before it is shipped. Also we had to take on the extra expense of getting the battery replaced. Hopefully it will continue to work as it had to be opened up and after the battery replacement closed back up.

This swim watch is ideally designed for lap swimmers without daily coaching. It covers all of the data a lap swimmer would desire. It is very easy to use. The directions are clear. The reviews re: water getting into watch must be people who ignored the clear directions. I swim 4 times a week and have had zero problems and precise data.

The watch was working fine upon arrival and quit when the wife got it wet. It's a swim watch and should be water proof!! Once it dried out a day later it began to work almost completely. I am returning the watch for a replacement.

It doesn't work... probably needs a new battery

Right out of the box rhe battery was dead. What else can you say?

Very unfriendly to use, It is hard to go back to main screen. Confusing design when using the buttons. I will give it a 3 star if it does not shut down after 7 months after it received it because of dead battery. Changing the battery is not a walk in the park. It is very hard to put the rubber washer in the right place. Only after quite I few try that I am satisfy its placement. If it leaks tomorrow when I go swimming, I will come back to give it a -1 star. Suggestion, make the groove that house the rubber washer deeper and use a larger size of washer.

Its a beautiful watch and i love it. Works fine to count laps,which is what i needed.

Nach 3 Monaten war die Uhr nicht mehr funktionsfähig, das Display tot. Laut Produktbeschreibung sollte die enthaltene Batterie 2 Jahre funktionieren. Verkauf durch Amazon. Laut Amazon gibt es nur die Rückgabe nach 30 Tagen, die bereits abgelaufen waren, man solle sich an den Hersteller wenden. Bei Aufruf der Herstellerinformation kam der Hinweis: Herstellerinformation nicht mehr verfügbar. Ein Anruf bei Swimovate.de brachte den Hinweis, dass sie nicht Hersteller seien und man sich an den Verkäufer wenden sollte.... Auf jedes Produkt gibt es eine Garantie, bzw. zumindest die Möglichkeit, ein defektes Gerät zu reparieren oder zurückzugeben. Dies war in diesem Fall nicht möglich (s.o.). Kauf bei amazon ist gut, solange die Produkte von einer externen Firma verkauft und vertrieben werden (an die man sich bei Problemen wenden kann), wenn amazon selbst der Verkäufer ist, hat man bei Garantiefällen ein Problem. Das nächste Mal kaufe ich eine Sportuhr nur noch im Direktvertrieb des Shops!

no funciona bien no mide correctamente as vueltas nadando

Benutze die Uhr jetzt seit über 6 Monaten mehrmals die Woche, sie zählt sehr zuverlässig und fehlerlos 25 und 50 m Bahnen, aber nur, wenn man dezidiert und ohne hin und her zu zappeln wendet - wenn es Fehler gibt, dann nur, wenn man sich beim Wenden in verschiedene Richtungen gedreht hat. Ich kann nur Positives berichten.

This is how I received it box was damage not just damage but destroyed Second it was delivered by fed ex and I had to pay duty I was not expecting that but it would have been nice if Amazon would have that written that somewhere. last one when I was setting up the watch the battery was at 2 full battery is 6 not happy with that.i really do not what to change the battery as that may cause a leak Good thing is the cost as I only what to use it in the pool count my laps so before you send out watch make sure it a full battery

I THINK this is the only swim watch that actually recognises and counts strokes and is really good in a pool. The cheapest one, Poolmate 2, changing the battery is the job of an expert to make sure it desn't leak afterwards. As the battery lasts about a year, I assume a new watch is an annual expenditure and if a battery change works, it's a bonus. I agree with other comments about the black version with the black background dispay being really difficult to read, especially wearing goggles, so I stick to the grey version. However my latest one has a dodgy display and is being returned. In summary, lots of niggles but its uniqueness, accuracy, convenience and price save it.
