All of the GOARTEA teas that I have purchased have been quality teas and worthwhile purchases. I think GOARTEA overrates their teas a bit in the descriptions of them, but I find that is not uncommon with tea vendors--or vendors of most things, really. It's the same as when you order a fast food sandwich, only to find that it looks no where near as good as the picture advertising it--yet, it's pretty darn tasty nonetheless. Same thing with GOARTEA teas. Don't expect the tea leaves to look as nice as the ones in the photos, but GOARTEA teas are tasty and much higher in quality than anything I've found in local specialty tea shops or in major specialty tea chains. Their teas are also better than the teas that are available at our local Oriental food stores. Overall, GOARTEA teas are a good purchase and I would recommend them.

First of all, the GOARTEA brand Tie Guan Yin Tieguanyin Iron Goddess Chinese Oolong Tea appears to have been shipped from China and arrived within the stated arrival window through USPS. So it does take around two weeks from the time of order. The tea was individually vacuum sealed in foil packs and arranged inside a tin can; which was placed inside a thin carton box without any additional cushioning. Because of the lack of additional cushioning the tin can had a dent on top. Since the dent didn't affect the tea I wasn't too concern about that.One individual vacuum pack is enough for two to three brews. After that it becomes flavorless. The tea had a nice flavor and tasted just like the same type of tea from another brand that was much pricier.It's a really good value for the price and I would definitely order it again.

I was not aware that this is loose-leaf tea. The picture is a bit deceiving, I thought this tea came in bags because they are individually wrapped. So, I could not use them when I first bought them and was in a place with no tea strainer. When I finally did try it, the tea was very good.

This Tie Guan Yin tea does not have the special flagrance that other Tie Guan Yin tea I had before. The price is ok but the quality is a little disappointing. Shipment is fast. Give it a 3 star.

This tea is very good. It has a smooth, fresh taste. My Sushi Chef gave me some tea in a similar package as a gift (though not the same brand I think), and it was the best tea that I have ever had. I bought this because it appeared similar and I was not dissapointed. It instantly reminded me of that tea.

I've had Fujian Anxi Tie Guan Yin tea for years and the real thing has an unique aroma and is very good. But the stuff (aka. Goartea) I just received from this seller is no tea! When I opened one package and smelled nothing from the leaves, I had a hunch that I was conned for this purchase. The leaves taste worse than the free tea bugs we are offered in any Chinese restaurants here in the US. What a waste of money!! Amazon should do its customers a favor by removing this dishonest seller from its site to prevent them from cheating more money out of people!!!

I don't think it's working?I bought 2, one to taste, and one to gift, and didn't end up gifting the 2nd one because the tin was so small, and the tea do flavorless.The water didn't even change color at all, and I couldn't taste anything.I'm new to loose leaf tea - but am I doing something wrong?
