I usually purchase Bluecorn Naturals 100% Raw Beeswax candles because I'm familiar with their quality and have always been satisfied. In fact, I ordered a case of votives Bluecorn Naturals 100% Pure Beeswax Votives (18 Case, Raw) as well as a large pillar candle Bluecorn Naturals 100% Raw Beeswax Candle in 50% Recycled Glass (3 ¼" Dia. x 5 ½" Tall) - 85 Hour Burn Time (1, Red) the same day I gave these Votprof Naturals a try.So why did I try a new brand?I try to burn beeswax candles exclusively because I believe this is healthier than burning something petroleum-based indoors. (I won't go so far as to say I believe burning beeswax is health-promoting to the physical body, but I do find that candles help alleviate my winter stress and doldrums.)Looking at the stated dimensions, I thought these candles were going to be the size of Chanukkiah (Jewish Chanukkah menorah/candelabrum) candles. I get beeswax candles for that holiday, too, and often we have a few candles leftover due to missed evenings or multiple sets of candles being combined in various candelabra. The typical Chanukkah candle is about twice as thick as a standard birthday candle, but taller. I often find myself using leftover Chanukkah candles to light multiple other candles for a centerpiece, say, or to use the standing pilot light from the stove to light my kitchen pillar instead of a match. Being longer and just a bit thicker than a birthday candle, they make my fingers feel safer.I looked at my ruler to confirm these Votprof tapers were similar in length to my old Chanukkah candles, but my eyeball estimate of their comparative diameters was off. These candles look like super-tall birthday candles! They would be lovely on a fancy birthday cake. Each candle is about three times as tall as your usual birthday candle.I was also drawn to the burn time of just over one hour. I like to light a candle in the room as I get my child ready for bed, and I thought this size might mean one less thing to do after settling him down, letting it burn itself out instead of my needing to extinguish a large pillar as I do right now. (Lest any reader worry, the bedroom candles are quite safe inside the enclosure of an otherwise unused, glassed in fireplace, and I am usually reading quietly on the other side of the room long after my child falls asleep.) :) I didn't time the burn time exactly, but I'd estimate that the one of these I've burned lasted over an hour.The packaging for the Votprof Naturals candle is attractive enough for a gift, but not superlative. It is a thinner paperboard box as opposed to rigid cardboard. All of my candles arrived in good condition, so this doesn't deserve any reduction in stars. It is simply worth noting if, like me, you store rather a lot of candles and you are wondering whether you will need to repackage to stack various sizes. I'd say you might wish to put these in a sturdier box or keep them at the top of a heavy stack. The label is multi-use and has the size and quantity circled in ink. Again, this is fine. The label is clear. I believe this seller is reducing packaging waste which is admirable. I mention these details only because I was curious what I would be getting, and some reader may be glad to know before purchase. I would certainly feel this packaging could be given as a gift, but it isn't so fine that I would skip decorative wrapping.Finally, these were priced just right for what I wanted. I can really struggle with Seasonal Affective Disorder by February, and I burn a lot of candles as a healing gift to myself. These are a fair price so I don't have to feel too extravagant if I burn several in a day. (Another reassurance to apprehensive readers--I've also talked to my doctor, have family support, am taking fish oil and Vitamin D, and use a special high LUX lamp Northern Light Technology Flamingo 10,000 Lux Bright Light Therapy Floor Lamp, Black to keep myself emotionally healthy!)I opted to dig out a little hole in the base of an otherwise used up (no more wick in the beeswax stub) 3-inch pillar candle to create a holder for these skinny candles. I just dug in the tips of an old pair of scissors and rotated until I had a 1/4" hole about 1/2" deep. This created a nice, sturdy base that will also catch any wayward drips if my candles are hit by a draft. Like most beeswax candles, I'm not seeing much if any dripping, but I do always protect surfaces beneath candles for safety as well as tidiness.I will buy this brand again if they have the candle size/style that I want.

Really lovely beeswax candles that smell wonderful. 50 Natural 100% Pure Beeswax Taper Candles ( 6") Natural Honey Scent Gift Box These candles burn for about an hour on average. The orders I have purchased of these candles have always been fresh, and they have retained their natural beeswax aroma well when stored in a bamboo wooden box. These are all natural and have the faint smell of honey.✔️ BURN EVEN AND CLEAN: These burn evenly and clean. Not reside left behind. Burn completely down to the last bit of the wick.✔️ 100% COTTON WICK.✔️ SCENT: Just the natural scent of honey and beeswax. Really lovely.✳️ TIP: These are obviously a very skinny candle, a holder that fits them is something I have yet to find. I hold the flame to the bottom of the candle before I light it, let a few drops of wax fall into a small glass container or dish, then press and hold the candle in it for about a minute to let it set. The candle stands up on its own, burns the length of the candle, and does not bend or fall over in the process. Of course, I would not recommend leaving the candle unattended using this method.❇️ TIP:I found a nice bamboo box, by Art Alternatives, here on Amazon to store them in, I will link it here for you. It is the perfect size, with a few inches to spare. Art Alternatives Bamboo Storage Box Many recent customer reviews for this box stated they were receiving beechwood boxes, not the advertised bamboo version of the box pictured and described in the listing. It is for this reason that I decided to order it from another vendor, Not the vendor that the search defaults to and that is highlighted at the top of the product page. I am so glad that I did, as the box I received is exactly as pictured, a beautiful bamboo. I ordered mine from THE BT GROUP, which is listed under other available sellers. The best birthday candles, as they don’t pollute your air with parabens. Plus they are moldible so you can shape them into different designs! They do melt fast and will drop drips on your cake, just fyi

Amazon packed the box of candles in a plastic envelope mailer, giving me a completely smashed box that cannot contain the candles which thankfully survived unbroken despite the demolishment of the packaging. The box is very thin paperboard with a large cut-out in front to show the candles and definitely could not withstand mailing in an plastic bag, which was guaranteed to smash it.They are thin single use candles as advertised, about the length of palm to finger tip (mentioned for the benefit of those who visualize size). It is an observation, not a complaint, that they bend a good deal and are not at all brittle. Strong pleasant beeswax smell. Slightly dried out tips. The candles themselves would have worked just fine for our application.The value was in the shipping speed and cost as it was a good deal to arrive by our event date but Amazon also bungled that, telling me on the delivery day that it had not shipped, finally shipping at 6 days out and arriving at 8 days out. So now we need to store them for later use but have no box to store them in, so that's pretty frustrating.

Very good quality beeswax tapers, just as described. I've bought the box of 500 twice now and highly recommend these! Best value for money out there for beeswax tapers. The box of 500 at the current price of about $85 breaks down to about $0.17/taper.They're shipped in tightly wrapped bricks of 250, so even if the box gets mangled (as it did my 2nd time) the candles are unscathed. Very sturdy that way.They smell, look, and burn exactly like pure beeswax tapers should, so I am quite confident they are genuine. They hold a beautifully steady flame, and stick to a glass votive holder just enough to remain upright. Just as described, including for longevity. The thinnest ones last about an hour, even if you're extinguishing and relighting them several times like I do.They burn completely, usually right down to nothing but a little clear residue and bit of wick ash, but occasionally leaves a very small stub of unused wax depending on which way the wick falls at the end. And either way, the residue or tiny dot of wax helps the next candle to stick in place.

I have bought and used beeswax candles for many years now on a regular basis, and I know very well how beeswax candles should smell in storage and when burned. Some are mild, some are stronger, but all smell like . . . well, beeswax. These candles, in contrast to the usual pleasant aroma of beeswax candles, stank of some type of petroleum fuel or chemicals. Either they were stored near such fuel or chemicals in shipment and absorbed the odors, or it spilled on them at some point, or they are not 100% beeswax but have paraffin or other petroleum distillates in them. I kept them for over two years, out of curiosity, to see if the odor would eventually disappear. It never did. They still smelled, that is reeked, enough that I did not burn them. From reading other reviews, I see that some other buyers have gotten shipments of these candles that had the same odor problem. That is why I finally decided to write this review, since my experience was not isolated. Evidently, most people are very happy with these candles. I hope that the sellers can find out what is going on with the shipments that are problematic and can correct the problem.

The candles themselves I suppose are very nice. They are actually what you advertised. However my problem is that I was searching for EAR candles. When these came up they look very much like what I was looking for and I ordered them only to discover that they weren't what I expected. I guess really it's my fault for not reading the item description more carefully but because I had specifically put in a search for EAR candles I expected that that's what I was looking at.

Was pleased to find these candles - especially with a coupon offering too! The size fits perfectly into the hand-crafted wooden Christmas holders I made. The 1/4 in width listed in the description made me think I might have to shave off a little to fit them into my candle holders but that was not necessary - they fit great. The candles also burn well with little to no dripping. I wouldn't pay any attention to the customer video review with the thumbs down -- I didn't and am pleased with the candles.

Received the above mentioned product, but very disappointed with it. Firstly, its very filmsy, was stuck with the other candles, as it burnt it dripped almost completely. so will not buy again
