I bought for low price but loved what it does. Color was a little off.
I have used Minwax stains in the past so i knew the process of applying it. The Colonial Maple color was more red than shown in picture. That was a little disappointing. However my mail goal was to protect the wood planter that i just made so it can withstand elements, I used a small piece of cloth to apply and that was fairly easy. The stain flows like water so small drips were not easy to avoid. Most bare woods will suck up a lot of stain so make sure to keep in mind when ordering. My project is still ongoing and i will apply more coats. However, i will post pictures soon.

Works as should
Have been using this stain since i was a kid. Love the color of colonial maple on my baseboards. I then polyurethane over top and looks wonderful and should last forever.

Been using the product for 30 years. In my opinion, water based stains don't compare!
