The other radio is mounted to the outside of my (metal) barn some 300 feet away. Took me about a half-day to physically mount and configure. It did not work until I followed the instructions, the first step is to do a 'reset' on the devices.It is providing a wireless bridge between the two buildings. The distance between the two buildings is about 200' unobstructed. Great signal strength, not sure of the actual throughput. I don't like that you cannot hide the 'sid' to outside observers.
