Beefy, easy to turn, very solid!
Beefy little luck! Feels very solid and robust for those that complain that they can't get it open.... the instructions leaves out the part that once you set your combination when you put it to the set numbers you set you must then push the button at the bottom of the lock to activate release.

Excellent lock
This is a great lock for outdoor use! We purchased this lock in March so it's been in use for 6 months now and works perfectly. This lock is on a gate that is opened everyday. All other locks would get hard to open and close, the numbers start fading and so on. I'm putting this lock on every gate I have!

Great lock for our tool shed
The lock is strong. A custom combination is easily set. Numbers turn smoothly, whether in hot weather or chilly. We don't get snow here, so I can't speak to how well it will perform in that sceanario. But, the recent rain we received did not reduce the ease of use in the least. Recommend highly

Seems Beefy
It seems to be a very nice closed shackle padlock. The wheel and the rest of it are nice and smooth. The casing is nice as well. The only problem is I dropped mine about a week after I got it and the release button on the bottom shattered.

Seems to be good!
I have no idea how shim proof this is, but it seems well made, the number dials move smoothly and the use of a button at the bottom to release the shackle is a good idea as with many combination padlocks there's an automatic release when you (accidentally or working through the numbers) hit the right combination.

Very Good Lock From A British Manufacturer.
Very good lock from a British manufacturer. Sturdy case, good strong shackle, shielded shackle. Combination wheels run nicely and the button on the base pushes nicely. The shackle pops open nicely. Overall, very good lock.
