Simple set, loads of fun
Basic set but a good introduction to Backgammon, well worth the money

Poor quality board
Cardboard, barely. Not for heavy handed people, the board is not sturdy, and doesn't even lay flat

BUY THIS - Worth the money and very usable - WRONG layout diagram.
I would have given this product five stars because it consists of a 28cm square board which is sturdy and 60 unbreakable plastic pieces and one set of dice - it's perfect and very competitively priced. I wanted a lightweight portable game that I can take with me as I have a professional set that is too heavy and cumbersome to take on public transport. I am still very happy with this product BUT the instructions are not correct, the diagram they provide has the outer boards and home boards confused. I suggest new players do an internet search for reliable rules and layout diagrams otherwise, BUY THIS..... I'm thinking of getting another. Really good value for money and in a neat box too.

I wasn't sure if my wife would like backgammon so I wanted a cheap game to introduce her to it. This is perfect for that. It is a cheaply made game, but accomplishes the goal of learning the game. Now that I know she likes the game, I can look at buying one of the much more expensive models. I do wish they would have printed a checker board on the back.

I know you get what you pay for but it's very hard to play backgammon when you only get the black checkers in the box.

This was inexpensive, but I expected a thicker board for game play. It was super flimsy, but does the job.
