18-Layer All Weather Waterproof Automobile Car Cover Protection

Update: Customer Service from this company reached out to me to rectify the issue with the straps. They sent me a new cover with straps that feel and are very sturdy. Moving this to a 5 star review given that first rate service and for a quality product. I previously purchased this cover 9 months ago and this latest one was a replacement due to tearing (my fault). The cover itself is great given it is an 18 layer car cover meant for outdoor/indoor use. Fit my 99 Mercedes C280 quite well, not too snug, but not too loose either. The exterior seems to do well in rain and protects against other environmental fallout in my area of Los Angeles. I park my vehicle under a very popular tree for squirrels and birds. They leave quite the mess under the tree and this cover mitigates all of that really well. Once every 3-4 months I hose the cover off and it looks perfect again. The waterproof capability is there within reason. If you live in a very wet or damp climate the cover will eventually allow water in, and even if you go through a very heavy rain you might find moisture underneath. The straps are what lose 2 stars off 5 for me. The buckles fit perfectly, but the webbing material is completely useless. There is no way to tighten the straps so that they don't loosen again due to say wind or a light breeze. The webbing is far too thin for the buckles provided and just slip through. The straps are meant to cinch down the cover so that it doesn't flap around in a breeze under a certain limit. When I first used this cover I did not tighten the straps and the cover became super loose and scuffed the car's paint slightly, but thankfully a light polish and wax fixed that. I used my original cover's straps and they secured this new cover really well.

The iCarCover is incredibly well-made and heavy-duty. It keeps moisture out completely while the built-in vents allow for airflow to prevent condensation underneath. My only tip is to make sure you use the included under-car wind straps during storms. Because the 18-layer fabric is quite thick and heavy, it can act a bit like a sail in extreme wind if it isn't buckled down tightly. Demolding from the included storage bag is quick, and it folds up nicely.

I got this to protect my car from sun and storms. It's really good for both and keeps heat out, but its really heavy. It's also kind of delicate and i have to be careful putting it on and off. I was pulling it off one day and it caught on my louvre and tore a tiny hole before i saw it. Other than that, its a very nice cover for all weather and does what they say it will. Also, the one they sent me fits my car like a glove.

Well made with a water repellent outer fabric and cloth lined inner fabric. Has a zipper typed access panel that runs vertically from the bottom edge to the top edge on drivers side door to allow easy access into the car without completly removing the entire cover so you can get in and roll the windows down and allow additional air flow. Also has elastic trim on the front and back lower edges to hold it on the car. Has a couple of "breather" panel pockets to give some air flow but prevent water from entering . Hangs down nice and low covering all of the car and most of the wheels. Had my classic car outside for a short time and it rained but when I took the cover off, the car was nice and dry. The cover is lightweight enough to move around easily but thick enough between the outter fabric and lining (not flimsy) that you can keep it on the car while in the garage to help prevent someone from rubbing up against it and potentially scratching the paint. Also has an area in the middle of the cover at the bottom where you can attatch a belt that runs under the car from the drivers side door to the passenger side door to secure the cover in case of wind so it wont blow away. Definitely worth the money.

I purchased an "iCarCover 18-Layer Car Cover Waterproof All Weather, Premium Quality Car Cover" for my 2008 Honda Civic from Amazon on March 14, 2022. It was put into service in Mill Valley, CA (outside) on March 27, 2022 until July 23, 2022, approximately 4 months. It was a surprisingly good fit for the car, and looked wonderful (and snug). At the end of the storage, I noticed that The top of the cover (i.e. the large, central piece that covers the top of the car) had discolored/faded during the 4-month period. I contacted iCarCover customer service to ask about the fading. They said that it wasn't unusual for this particular cover, and offered to replace it under warranty for $15 s/h, or allow me to trade-up to a cover that wouldn't discolor or fade for $55. As I thought it was only cosmetic (and was assured by the customer service rep that the discoloration and fading wouldn't affect the functionality of the cover), I stayed with the original cover. I put the cover into service again on March 29, 2023 until July 29, 2023, another 4 months, this time in Novato, CA (outdoors). There was some additional discoloration and fading during this period, but the cover served its purpose and protected my car well. Finally, I put the cover into service on March 21, 2024 until February 1, 2026, again in Novato, CA (outside). A little over 22 months (and now 30 months of usage, total). I am stunned by the deterioration (which appears to be largely to the "center" panel), as shown in the included photos. The "waterproof" protective layer has disappeared, and the various white "patches" are the remnants of the cotton under-layer. The disintegration of the cover also damaged the paint of my car (in part because it allowed the cover to shift on the vehicle in the wind, and the soft cotton under-layer "sanded" off some of the paint on the left door handle and the left outside rear view mirror housing). I don't know when the cover disintegrated, but a neighbor tells me that it likely happened in the first half of 2025. I take exception with the representation that "Our cover is built to last, with waterproof seams to prevent leaks and ventilation for airflow, keeping your car dry. The strong, multilayered material offers durable, long-lasting protection in any weather." Novato CA has some of the mildest weather in the state. I am shocked and disappointed by the incredible lack of durability and protection. I again wrote iCarCover customer service (including 14 photos), and so far, haven't been pleased with the response. They haven't explained why the cover disintegrated, but have offered to replace the cover under warranty for s/h of $25 (almost half of what I paid for the cover when I bought it new; it appears that the high s/h charge is really being used to help cover the internal cost of the warranty). While they promise a "100% Satisfaction Guarantee", I am waiting for an explanation of the fundamental failure and, so far, I am not impressed with the implementation of their "100% Satisfaction Guarantee." In my opinion, they should stand behind their advertising and their product, and replace the flawed product I received without any cost to me, or refund the purchase price in full. If you are using this cover inside, I would give it 5 stars. I cannot recommend using it outside for more than a year. The photos speak for themselves.

This is my second car cover from Advance Parts. It is rain, wind and sun protection. Best part is the three straps to secure it on. I have it on my Vette which is outdoors in the very sunny, high humidity and rain which is almost everyday of the year in South Florida. The previous exact same cover was on for 6 months, only to take it off twice a week for a weekend cruise. Almost 170 days. For the price it is well worth it. I've bought custom covers with major name companies only for them to last barely to the warranty period. This covers the car well, almost to the ground, everything tucked in. Zipper on the driver's side in case you need to open your car door when the cover is on. Nice feature. Not too heavy nor light fabric. It doesn't lint like some of the fleece lined covers. Comes with the 3 straps and a carrying bag (unless you are an origami except that bag is useless). If you use this cover strictly indoors it should last a very long time. I will buy another in 6 months. Hope this info helps you.

It fits ok and comes with a small grommet for your antenna as well. I mean the fit is more / less universal and you have also a small shark fin on the top, just to look cool. :) The material is decent and the quality of stitching is excellent. Great buy for the price.

Very disappointed in product. Purchased in April 2025 by October 2925 the product had deteriorated so badly, had to dispose of it. Stitching came undone, fabric split, powdery residue left on vehicle, also leaked when raining.
