I first saw this book at Michael's when I was asking an associate about which type of ink I should use on fabric. She pulled out this book and looked it up for me. Afterward, I had the opportunity to flip through it and knew I'd love to expand my crafting abilities with the tips and tricks it lists with in it. I ordered it and was very pleased to see that the description of the book was right. It came in the mail quickly and is brand new. It is very detailed and informative throughout the techniques it lists. With each project showing the technique, it gives all of the details of materials used, which I love (especially if I fall in love with the specific stamp). I am excited to try the new ideas I am beginning to read about and can't wait to keep reading.

This book is a collection from Paper Crafts & Stamp It magazines of tips, tricks, techniques and project ideas. It's organized by techniques! Making it so easy to find the technique you're looking for. There's even patterns for those projects that require it.I love to create and have used several of these techniques over the years. But I'm looking forward to trying some the other techniques and to see what additional tips and tricks I can learn to make my crafting quicker and more fun.Quite a few techniques are using sewing or other supplies I already have but haven't used in years, so I'm really excited to pull them out and use them in my card and paper crafting projects!

I ordered this book thinking that for $12.00 or so I was going to get a little paperback craft book with a few ideas that I could use. What I got was essentially a textbook in papercrafting ideas and techniques that took me a few days to flip through. It's not like a huge college text book or anything, but it is much larger than any other papercrafting book I own.This book is invaluable, especially to anyone who is just beginning. But even for us seasoned crafters, there are plenty of new ideas to explore in this book. I highly recommend it!

I have tons of books on stamping , cardmaking and scrapbooking, but this one really surprised me.I bought it based on the good reviews, and I don't regret it!I do papercrafting all the time, and there are so many creative technique ideas in this book that I couldn't imagine!The moment I received this book, I opened it randomly and the first page I read was on "how to make scented hot embossing"!I thought - wow! This book seems cool...and I had the perfect first impression.It's really really cool!

Over 250 pages of ideas and designs covering everything from babies to weddings. Useful for fresh ideas on cards, small gifts and cute ways to dress up and package them. I first saw this book in a local craft shop but thought it a bit pricey so decided to check Amazon before buying. I purchased this book used on Amazon, in great condition and am very pleased!

This book is exceptionally great because you're doing more than just rubber stamping, it's rubber stamping and beyond.The book is well done, has lots of ideas and explains each creation very well. It's a big book and well worth the money. I bought the Quick and Clever Handmade Cards book along with this, it's not done as well and has less ideas and doesn't explain well either.If you like variety and something different, but easy to do, I highly recommend this book!

Great Magazine ...crammed full of ideas, tips and tricks that were new to me. I love it. Highly recommend for paper artists and crafters.Received quickly and in wonderful condition...

This is a card making/craft book. It is more than greeting card creations. Stamping fabric ideas, personalizing light switch plates, and more. I like it more for the techniques than I do the actual designs. For instance, there is a lesson creating resists, creating scented embossing and more,

I was so amazed with this book I bought another one to go with my friend's birthday present. There's so much going on in here. I love it.

A lovely book full of inspiring and wonderful card ideas.

hallo ihr lieben, so ich hab grad das päckchen bekommen und dachte mir, bevor ich es vergesse, schreibe ich hier noch schnell meine rezension zu dem BUCH!im grunde ist es sehr ähnlich aufgebaut wie "the ultimate paper crafts collection" (ebenfalls von Papercrafts & stamp it!), von daher fällt meine rezension recht kurz aus, genaueres könnt ihr beim anderen nachlesen.1. es enthält viele tolle beispiele und ideen für karten und kleine geschenke. diese sind teilweise etwas ausgefallener und auch hochwertiger als so manch andere ideen, die ich bislang gesehen habe. das es sich "treasury of tips und tricks" nennt, ist auch keine fehlentscheidung. es werden einige "tips and tricks" zwischen einzelnen karten oder geschenken erklärt, aber auch am ende wird noch einmal einiges beschrieben, was nützlich ist. beispielsweise zur aufbewahrung der materialien, etc.natürlich, wie sollte es auch anderes sein, wenn es aus amerika kommt, ist es auf englisch geschrieben. doch auch ich verstehe hier einiges, obwohl ich nicht sonderlich gut im englischen bin. außerdem sind die bilder sehr hilfreich, da kann man oft schon erkennen, was eigentlich gemeint ist!und zur not befindet sich sicherlich ein duden oder pons bei euch im haushalt, so dass ihr nachschlagen könnt ;)ps. ich habe auch noch keine idee zweimal in einem der bücher entdeckt, davor hatte ich ja etwas angst, da sie sich hier ja alle etwas ähneln!!! aber das bedeutet, noch mehr ideen und noch mehr beispiele!!! freu

erst war ich erschlagen und dann absolut begeistert. Tolles Nachschlagewerk, das super Anregungen enthält. Wer wenig oder kein Englisch versteht, sollte vielleicht nicht unbedingt als Anfänger dieses Werk zur Hand nehmen, aber "Kartendesigner" mit etwas Erfahrung haben bei der Umsetzung der Ideen oder persönlichen Weiterentwicklung bestimmt keine Probleme. Natürlich findet sich in dem Buch der amerikanische Charm wieder, aber ich finde ihn nicht zu kitschig. Die verwendeten Materialien und gezeigten Stempel sind, würde ich sagen, die momentan gängigsten am Markt, außerdem rüstet der Handel stark auf. Und dann gibt's ja noch das Internet. Ergo.... das Buch/Magazin ist ein echtes "must have" für Kartenbastler.
