I have loved the look and feel of this copper mug. It keeps any of my iced drinks incredibly cold like I like and I even feel like it savors the flavors a lot more than a regular mug. The quality is a nice thin copper and gives a nice elegant look while you sip on your chilled drink. The handle is big enough to big held in your hand comfortably.The copper is great for holding all the acidic flavors such as lemon. It enhances the flavor to your Moscow mule or even your iced tea. It's been great to have this around my kitchen. It is easy to wash and keep clean which is always a plus. My drinks have never stayed as cool as they do in this mug and I am a HUGE fan of nice cold beverages. The best thing about it is that with time and each wash, the copper begins to tarnish, giving it a nice vintage look. This is a nice looking, solid copper mug. I like the fact that the handle is riveted on and not spot-welded like other copper mugs. I also like the fact that it is not lined in the interior. I really like the weight and heft of some of my other copper mugs - This one is relatively light weight compared to others. If you need a few more copper mugs around, this one will do just fine.

These cups are great for holding my moscow mules. When there is just a bit of drink left, barely enough to cover the bottom, and the cup is left to sit for a bit, I did notice some tarnishing in the copper. However, washing the cup seems to take care of this and the cups don't retain any real permanent tarnishing.

hmmm. I don't like it. That isn't to say there aren't some good qualities. Shape. Idea. Size. But about the copper itself... I think there's a problem. It has big black spots that didn't show up until I put some water in it and it sat for a couple of hours. I did this to kind of erase the weird metallic taste. The surface of these spots are rough. If it is 100% copper there is some catch with that statement that I can't figure out. This is not the usual tarnish inherent with my other copper items. I might also add that a copper pipe would be totally unusable if, after a single day with water in it, it began to corrode like this. The idea for me is that drinking water throughout the day using a copper cup has very real health benefits. This is simply not going to work.

Make SURE you are vigilant about drying this mug right after you wash it! Friend didn't know and washed mug for me and let air dry... The inside is now permanently stained with dark stains. Otherwise this is a great mug for the price! Freeze the mug for an extended cooling time. Love it!

Good solid cup. I use it with water only for the health benefits. The first week it had a strong metallic flavor but now it is fine.

Finally a copper mug that is REAL COPPER! Do not settle for the stainless steel lined cups, they do not compare. These cups are a little smaller than another set I bought, but just as good. There seems to be a coating on the outside of the cup (not the inside) that helps to keep the copper clean so these will not get stained as easily. Great for Moscow Mule lovers and makes a great gift.

Only three stars cuz of the wrong size. It's a great mug, well made. But I ordered the 16oz ones and received a12oz. mug. Didn't notice until the 2nd or 3rd use (when I measured what it held.) Then I checked my order to be sure I remembered what I ordered correctly. Yep, supposed to be 16 oz.
