Great source of knowledge with downloadable soft copy!
I wanted to get detailed information to better understand a medical problem I have. As an engineer I'm used to reading technical books to build or expand knowledge. After researching different options, this seemed the best bet, and the fact it came with an online version was the final data point I needed. The book and the level of details as well as images and illustrations is outstanding. The text is detailed and easy to understand. The illustrations and images are of high quality and make it easier to get the point. Some of the MRI images are better than the ones I have of myself. The book is logically organized and it's easy to use its taxonomy to find whatever you're seeking. It is an amazing source of knowledge! It was easy to create an online account and download a copy of the book as well as available videos to my iPhone X and iPad. Amazon had this book and I got it in two days. I'm delighted with the book and Amazon. It is worth the price. If you are debating a new vs. used copy, consider that the new book version comes with the online access code that lets you download this very big and heavy book. The soft copy has videos and is very easy to use. The books itself is great for sitting at a desk and reading while looking at the images.

Still the best professional textbook of Anatomy.
I am a retired plastic surgeon that always had a special interest in Anatomy and over the years collected all good Atlas but always kept my 1962 Gray's anatomy. After getting the new Gray's anatomy forty-first edition 2016 I finally got rid of my old Gray's of 1962 ( not easily ) .The new one is a master piece, to be used as reference , but I wouldn't recommend it for medical students. I would rather recommend to them " Human Anatomy " 9th edition by Martini, Tallitschand Nath, that is to me the best textbook of anatomy for medical student or any student of anatomy. It is a wonderful book and it makes anatomy simple and fun. I also have Gray's anatomy for students 3rd edition that is also an excellent textbook for students of anatomy. Those 2 textbooks should be used with an atlas and my favorite is "Thieme atlas of anatomy, by Gilroy and Macpherson ", followed by Grant's Atlas of anatomy 13th edition and NETTER.

Every person should have this in their library.
This weighty volume is very interesting and educational even for a lay person like myself. The color illustrations are so much larger, clearer and easy to understand that the black and white illustrations in the "classic" Gray's Anatomy. It helps us better understand the incredible machines that our bodies are. Plus you can set it up to have the full volume accessible from your smart phone or PC / laptop / iPad.

Wonderful Resource - worth the money
This book arrived promptly, as advertised, and has been a useful resource for me with my medical courses. It was recommended by a professor to our class, and I am glad that I went ahead and invested in it.

Printed book PLUS complete iPad app!
Excellent book. The text is a bit small for my old eyes but overall it is well organized and high quality printing. I also enjoy the Inkling app that gave me no charge access to the entire book on my iPad. Now, I can use the physical book or the iPad to browse making this a great purchase. I am CEO of a software company supporting medical device compliance so my needs are to gain a general knowledge. I am not a medical professional.

Clinically oriented.
Love the new reorganization of the text to a more regional approach, which is how we approach anatomy clinically.
