I got these to hardwire Alexa-Auto units into my 2 cars. I didn't want wires hanging down across the dash and head-unit, so this set of 2 USB port units were just right for the job. I'm an engineer with electronics experience and would advise that only knowledgeable persons wire up these USB units. Mine were wired into the cig lighter power socket wires because it's only active when the car is running and was the nearest power source to where I mounted the Alexa-Autos. The USB port units were installed behind the head-unit, out of sight. The rotating door cover is easily broken, so be a little careful when opening the cover if you mount the unit anywhere it can be touched.

These are a great product and I am using them in my Summer House for USB charging ports. I wish the little ring light was blue, but thats just me being fussy. very easy to fit and does the job perfectly.

Installed these in my caravan, piggybacking off the led wiring. These USB sockets do have back lit sockets. We just covered them up with electrical tape. Really easy to install

Charges my iPhone 13 at 7.21 watts which is better than I expected using a charge cable from Poundland. Light is not as bright as i feared from the reviews - more of a soft glow pinky red compared to the slightly brighter toggle switch I paired it with. The sliding cover is also stronger than I thought it would be.

Fits on a flat wall in 5 minutes. Neat and tidy easy to install with ready prepared black and red wires. Very pleased!!!

Perfect little upgrade for our campervan conversion and they are not as bright as what people have been saying we don't even notice the lights on at night even with the cap closed and it was easy to install to our 12v system in 10mins

At first I was really pleased with these when I fitted them above the bed in our caravan for charging our phones over night and they seemed a perfect solution with a nice fairly flush fit without the need for a big hole. Unfortunately what I didn’t realise is that the light that is built into them and illuminates the red coloured ring, also shines quite bright white through the actual sockets while charging with the cover open, enough to be an annoyance for us. I have since moved them to above the shelf so they no longer shine directly down on to us.
