I bought the 85 lb thrust motor for my 14 ft jon boat it arrived Friday. I took it to the lake today I ran around the lake all day it performed much better than expected!!! I thought I needed 2 batteries I bought 2 24 volt batteries but it only needed one

Bought this to replace the existing motor on my bass boat, and must say that it fits great. It doesn't drain much battery but gives some good power and gets up to speed quick. Easy twist handle makes it simple to operate. And it works just as intended.

Overall, I really like this trolling motor. The things that I am calling "issues", are really not that big of a deal, but are things that I have noticed and I felt they are worth mentioning. The main "issue" is that for my purposes, this motor honestly moves a little too fast on the lowest setting, and there is very little difference between the 1 (lowest) and 5 (fastest) setting. Trolling down bayous, even the lowest setting had my 14 foot Jon Boat going 2-3 MPH. On the fastest setting, it does roughly 4 MPH on the same boat. I think I am probably being a little too picky, but I wish the slowest setting did like 1 MPH and crept up from there with the speed settings. I can't tell the longevity, but overall, I would buy this motor again. I purchased the 24v 86LB thrust one.

Have use this for three or four days and so much better than the one I returned. Better quality build and included. Extra propeller. Less weed entanglement under the propeller. The only negative would be the transom bracket seems less strong than it should be but time will tell I am adding this after a problem came up, and the vendor replaced the motor without my asking just because I was having a problem and he could not provide a switch to repair the problem. I admire this kind of customer service.

I bought the 86lbs thrust model and although it’s pretty heavy, it’s worth the money. Be sure to know it takes a 24v battery to power. I was able to find an affordable 24v on Walmart.com. Has good speed.

Works great on my heavy boat, don't buy for small & light boat just get a 12v 55#

I put it on my 12 foot aluminum boat and everything seemed great until I started using it. The reverse didn’t work very well and 2,3 and 4 speed in forward motion were all the same.

It's OK. 500 lbs in my 12ft Jon Boat and it does ok. Very easy to install, basic plug and play. It's quit. Seems heavy duty, with an extra propeller. No complaints yet. Doesn't have the power of my 55lb Minn Kota. Prices cheap so there's that
