HP 206X Yellow High-Yield Toner Cartridge | Works with Color LaserJet Pro M255, MFP M282, M283 Series | W2112X

I have made the mistake in the past of trying out non-HP, third-party substitute toner cartridges and I have always been disappointed. Although original HP OEM, high-capacity toner cartridges like this one are expensive (especially after the tariffs added about $20 to the price), I still prefer them for their trouble-free operation. The print quality is consistently excellent, no smearing, and they are easy to replace in the printer. If you are going to spend the $ anyway, I would recommend going with the higher capacity 206X versions like this one. For the amount of printing we do (low to medium?) a cartridge lasts us about 1.5 to 2 years.

These are real HP lazer printer cartridges and fit right in. They last until the run out which for me can be years. I have never had an issue with real HP cartridges and I do like their recycling program as I have 4 to go back next to my desk.

In my experience it is best to stick with the product made by the same company as devise it will go in. I had bought a 'compatible' product at a much lower cost, but it did not work well in the printer and made lousy copies, so I've gone back to the HP product line and am very satisfied!!!

It fits the HP MFP M283 laser printer perfectly as it should. Would I prefer the price to be less, of course. This appears to be the going rate in my area.
