Open windows or make sure that you have a well ventilated area to work in, all acrylic liquids have a strong smell and you will benefit from fresh air coming in. Make sure you have a flat surface with enough space for you to work with, as you will need several other things around you for ease of access. You will need Acrylic Powder, a small terry cloth or tissue, an acrylic brush, and a small dappen dish to hold your Monomer. Prepare your nails: Use a file or e-file to rough the nail bed and push the cuticle back and tidy. Apply primer on natural nails before proceeding with either nail forms or overlays. If using false tips, make sure the tip is on the nail before applying primer to the exposed nail bed. Pick up Acrylic Liquid Soak your brush in the acrylic liquid and tap the brush lightly on the side of the dappen dish to get rid of any excess. Pick up Acrylic Powder Lightly press the brush at an angle to the top of the acrylic powder, pick up a small amount in the form of a bead, once it turns smooth and glossy apply on the nail bed as close to the cuticle as possible then mould to shape. Repeat the process until full coverage of the nail (Too runny? Use less monomer. Too dry? Use more monomer. This can take some practice.) Finish Off Once you have built up enough product on your nails and you are satisfied, file down the surface to create a smooth finish if needed, then apply a top coat of UV|LED Gel Polish. Tips Make allowances for the temperature you work in. Hot environments the liquid will evaporate faster, too cold and it will take longer to evaporate - affecting workability. Make sure the powder is heated to room temperature, too cold the powder will not be soft enought to form beads easily. CAUTION Highly flammable liquid and vapour. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. Discontinue use if irritation or other signs of adverse reaction occurs. Not for cosmetic use. SAFETY Keep out of reach of children.
