Does this teddybear rattle?

No. This does not rattle. Just a lovely soft cuddly toy.

Does it contain beans in the bottom?

No it doesn’t. It’s really soft and fluffy! I wanted to keep it for myself! 😂 It’s beautiful!

can it be machine washed?

I do not know as the toys were given to my great granddaughters & as far as I know they have not needed a wash as yet.
