The bag is well made and looks like it would be perfect to hold both clothes and my mat. Unfortunately, the straps aren't long enough to hold two thin mats rolled together, even though reviews said they would. I'm trying to find some way to fix that, as I need just 3-4 more inches. This is an update: I just tried the Manduko Pro Lite with the bag. The straps are too short for that single mat. I have no idea what kind of mat you need to use this feature. Such a disappointment for the cost.

Within a week or two of getting this bag the zipper pull started coming off. Not so much a big deal, but a little disappointing none the less. About a month later the seams started coming apart which required me doing some emergency maintenance. Now the bag has gotten so bad there's no saving it. The seams are all gone and the lining inside has completely shredded. This is all daily use from the car into the studio and back again. It's not as if I'm going long distances or beating the bag up a lot. I'm really disappointed in this product and would suggest looking at something better constructed.

I would give this backpack more stars if the strap did not start to fray and fall apart within two weeks of me getting it and starting to use it. I don't usually wear traditional backpacks and was thrilled to find this sling bag big enough to hold a medium-sized binder, a water bottle and a few other items as I worked at a camp. Again, had the bag not begun to fall apart mere weeks after I purchased it I would have given this product more stars. I can't imagine if I was truly hiking/traveling longer what I would have done. I assume I only have a few more wears out of the backpack before the sling strap completely unravels and tears off.

I am sad I have to give this product 3 stars! I had previously bought this backpack in January and it was wonderful! Buying a second one was a no brainer! However, they have changed. They have rebranded...no problem...but the quality is not the same. A few tweaks have been made to the pockets, not good or bad just different. However, the zippers are horrible. THey do not zip well and feel like they are going to stay stuck or break anytime. I hope it holds up because the versatility is exactly what I like, but the craftsmanship is not where it was with their Gecko Active branded bags vs Meru.

This is a great backpack for anyone looking for functionality and style. It is a medium-sized backpack so it does fit quite a bit. I got the blue one and loved it, predominantly for the clip-on yoga pouch. This just meant I didn't have to carry my yoga bag on one shoulder and my backpack on another. Yay! The only negative I experienced was that the yoga mat slipped out from the buckle a couple of times. I don't think there is anything defective about the buckle itself because it is not like the buckle is coming undone. It seems to be a function of the design (slippery material rubbing on slippery material). But to be honest, it is not a major issue.

I rarely write a review of anything, but I had to after receiving this backpack. I needed to replace a backpack that was stolen which I had used to transport all my pads n skate stuff when I go rollerblading. I looked at the ole standbys, very expensive and boring. Read some reviews of this product and gave it a try. Outstanding quality and thought went into the design of this backpack, Better constructed then packs costing significantly more. And since here in Florida, Geckos do run around on the outside (and occasionally inside) of the house at night, seemed perfect!Kudos to this one!

This backpack is the perfect size and is so comfortable to wear. It can hold my blocks, towel, small purse, CamelBak water bottle, cell phone and anything else I need to carry to class. I love the cross body style and all of the pockets. My mat is held securely by the exterior straps. I have not needed to use the rain cover yet, but I am so glad it came with one. I would definitely recommend this backpack to anyone who likes style and convenience.

My husband and I each had one of these bags and they both broke after only a month or two of use. We only used it for yoga a few times a week. Wetness leaked out of his bag through the seams. The backpack straps broke and the fabric frayed at the seams.
