Great product. Only wish it was a little bigger as we are always refilling it.

I've tested the water before and after using the filter. It indeed does add alkaline to the water. Keep in mind this is not the same as when an ionizer is used. An ionizer does not use chemicals/minerals for the process as this filter does. You should also know that not until you buy the filter and read the "manual" that it is not recommended for private wells.

Item was too small--constantly filling after each use. The lid will not stay on during pouring-but-the taste is good

I received my new Seychelle pH20 Pure Water Pitcher April 22, 2016. I started experimenting with my water from the fawcet and my pre-filtered Brita water. The fawcet water pH was 7.0 and Brita filtered water was 8 pH. The Seychelle pH20 filter produced 8.0 from the fawcet and 9.0 when I reused the pre-filtered Brita water. I decided to continue using my Britas for a 1st-stage filter process. I am glad I did. My right knee was swollen and I could not bear my weight on it going up the stairs. Today, 11 days later, I am able to use my right leg up the stairs. I smiled and said it IS the Seychelle alkaline water that has the knee improving. I'm even lazy about nightly ice packs but I still put the DR. Christopher's Complete Bone and Tissue Repair Salve on. Unfortunately, alone it was not enough to complete the healing process. I did not want to have knee surgery so I kept looking for a cure. A few other minor issues have improved including back pain. To some it is a lot of work to use the Brita, but I blame it on the Chlorinated and Florinated city water. My city water shows 114 ppm on my meter. I realize they are using so much chlorine to kill bacteria, it is up to me to take it from there. Eleven days after day one, is not a long time to feel and see results. I read that if you can raise your 7ph alkaline level, above 7, cancer cells become dormant. If we eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and less sugar and even drop the Seltzer Water, my whole family will be better off. Seychelle moved the ball in the right healthy direction.

The water definitely tastes better. I first filter through Britta, but my filter seems to be almost completely useless after one month of use. I live alone. I don't mind that it is slow to fill, but I want to be sure I have a filter that is actually useful. Has anyone else had this problem? I would not mind if it was one malfunctioning filter, but one filter per month would be extremely expensive!

Love this filter pitcher. I will replace the filters and use for years to come!!!

To slow filtering the water and began to taste bad... Waste of money..
