Yes it works fine with any conferencing app on my computer.

Q: Where does this pull power from? usb only? battery?

From both: Yes the battery is in there and it recharges through the USB when needed.

Q: Is there any bluetooth latency when using this wirelessly?

I haven't experienced any latency when connecting the Speaker via bluetooth. However, as I am switching between multiple devices I experienced some issues when reconnecting to the speaker. If you mostly use the bluetooth receiver plugged to one device I don't believe that you will have any issues.
