Does this help with new hair growth or just make your current hair grow faster?

Your question is hard for me to answer. I used this product for the components used, mostly the amino acids. I did not notice new hair growth nor faster growth. I use a different form of collagen so did I get tough nails from this product, I don’t know. Does this product do everything they advertise, we can only assume. I say use at least 6 bottles and make your own evaluation.
