It's good enough!
I had a Belkin brand band that lasted for 3 or 4 years. I liked it, but it would slip off easily. This particular armband doesn't slip off as easily, so that's a plus. Another plus is that it is more comfortable (soft and padded!).Here are my gripes:1. The plastic cover is not smooth, so the controls are hard to use. If I'm running and I try to move the sound down or up, the ipod can't read me at first. When I try harder to move the volume, I either blast my ears out or turn the sound down so I can't hear a thing. Also, when I try to fast forward to another song, it doesn't usually get it on the first try.2. There is only one side with an opening. That's the side where you slip the ipod into. The other side has a little hole to connect the earplugs. When I want to charge my ipod, I must completely take it out of the armband to do so.For the price, not such a bad product.

Works good to hold your iPod in place so you can listen to music while working out
I liked the way it held my iPod but it takes time to position the iPod into the armband. Itโs tighter fit which is good but thereโs a flap it has to go over and may take several minutes to get iPod over that. The opening at the bottom are small so you may have to open them somewhat to plug in your ear buds

From a runner's point of view.
This is a good product. I ran a 1/2 marathon with this on the 16th. There was a small amount of moisture inside afterward but my iPod was fine. I really like the cord wrap and that the top of the case where the iPod is inserted is completely covered. The plastic cover does make using the click wheel difficult, but it is still usable. Unfortunately it rubbed my arm raw during the half and I had to switch to my other arm, which also ended up rubbed raw, but I will be applying body glide to my arm next time before use to see if that helps. If it does I would say this is an amazing product.

Best of it's kind
The Tunebelt does everything it claims. I've used several similar belts over the years, and this one is easily the best. Especially when it comes to comfort over the hours. The neoprene material keeps your iPod tight in place while still maintaining comfort. The only issue I had with the Tunebelt was that for the first few days, it was hard to remove the iPod when I needed to charge or sync it. After those few days it wore-in and it has become increasingly easier to swap the iPod in and out of the Tunebelt. Now it's no trouble at all. Perhaps the maker should leave a note of that; expect a week or so for the belt to meet extended performance standards.Would happily buy again and recommend their products to any one who wants to use their iPod (or whatever) without having to waste a hand on holding it, or risk it in a normal pocket.

Great armband.
I absolutely love this armband. It is perfect for my ipod nano 5th generation. I take extra care of my older nano because it's great for walking, running, and biking; ie, I can turn the volume up or down and also skip or back up songs without looking. This armband has the protective plastic on it but still allows me to utilize that volume wheel. The nano fits pretty snug in the armband, but it's nothing I can't handle. The armband fits my arm well and doesn't slip, and it also has a little flap for securing the extra length of my earphone cord which is a really nice bonus.

Would recommend
I use while I am at the gym to hear the televisions. Works great except for one of the stations comes through as static (HGTV) which is disappointing. Other stations come through very clear.

This was a replacement band
If you have a thicker arm it may not be for you. I do not have a fat arm but do not have bulging muscles either but I find that I do not have much overlap when wearing it. Also the plastic guide that the strap runs through and goes over slips out of place causing it to dig into your arm after extended wear. It serves it purpose which is to allow me to wear my iPod while I do things outdoors but I was a bigger fan of the original band I had which was simpler with an open top so you could access the lock feature on the device. This one slides in and so you lose access to all but the bottom of the device and the screen, although the screen is covered by thick plastic.

3.5 stars... Not bad, but could be better
I purchased this product in error. I was actually looking for one with a similar brand name. However, I'm fairly happy with it anyways. It seems durable and the Vel-Cro strap seems to be pretty decent quality that should last without "stringing".What could be better: 1)On bicep/tricep days at the gym, the Vel-Cro strap could benefit from being a bit longer. For guys with bigger arms than me, the strap may be too short. 2) When your headphones are plugged in through the designated hole, it causes the face of the plastic protective case to wrinkle. This can sometimes make it difficult to smoothly scroll through menus or adjust the volume.
