No argument there.Spending almost $15 for what amounts to a piece of dense plastic or ceramic (brick?) seems over the top. Some of the reviews look like they may have been created through fake accounts. Adding insult to injury--the product is made in China. Just the thought of the carbon-loading into our atmosphere from shipping this dead weight across the ocean and then by rail/truck to our homes is nauseating. Then, consider the pollution created in the manufacturing process, the amount of water used in the production of this item, not to mention the toxic waste byproducts left over from the manufacturing process, and you have to wonder whether it's worth it to produce this item in the first place.Alternative method: 1) go outside. 2) find large rock composed of a solid mineral matrix, like quartz. 3) bring the rock home. 4) if necessary, clean off any mud/dirt. 5) drop this rock in your toilet tank. Done!
