This counter-top gas hob is perfect for heating a wok in an all-electric kitchen. It can get very hot so your food flash-fries as it should, rather than stewing. Also great to have around as a precaution against power-cuts. You'll need to buy your own regulator appropriate for the gas bottle you're using, and also your own gas hose. One other point, the rings are quite large, fine for a wok but if you're using a smaller saucepan you will need the kettle support adaptor that comes with the hob. To be honest mine rattled around and felt a bit precarious plus you only get one, Amazon do a very reasonable Gas Ring Reducer that fits this hob perfectly and at time of writing is only £4.39 for two, ASIN = B09QS9STGZ, highly recommended.

I've had this for about 6 months now. Make sure you have the full width available for this unit...you will need every mm of the advertised dimensions. The piezo sparker works, but is not as reliable as most conventional stoves, and I don't like how much of a open space is in the middle of each stove (if you want to use a very small pan, it will slip and slide more than likely. The grip of the stove has improved with the wear and tear, so the slip and slide is less of an issue 6 months later, but it was not painless in the beginning. Overall, for the money, I think it was a great purchase for our needs (custom camper van).

I love this stove. It's so powerful. Great for stir-fry in the wok or searing a steak. After 3 months daily use the quality seems good. Easily cleanable.

Ideal for my requirements.

In my life I’ve had many coockers of the same kind, but this one is FAR better than any of the previous. It’s easy to assemble, easy to use, the flame is easily adjustable from very fine to very powerful and so economical as well and finally it is so easy to clean just with a .wet cloth. Thank you gays

Looks great but then you find the delay sharp edges around the edges at the bottom of it. Poorly finished off, I had to return it sadly.

This is a very substantial piece of kit, looks very smart. Arrived in under 24 hours!

Love the stainless steel but shows damage easily first delivery had to go back 2 dents this one wasn't dented but not straight and highly reflective metal shows it, still a great bit of kit though.

Demandez aussi un clip détendeur + la Tétine qui se fixe dessus, c'est gratuit !! Achetez 1,5m de tuyau gaz blanc et le tour est joué. A vos casseroles ! Bon appétit.

Attention au commentaire qui affirme que tout va bien ! Ce n'est pas du tout le cas. Cet appareil est livré avec un filetage d'entrée gaz d'un 1/4 de tour gauche et un tuyau avec 2 écrous femelles d'un 1/4 de tour gauche (vissage à l'envers). Il m'a été livré également avec un unique détendeur propane 40 millibars, ce qui ne convient pas pour le butane. Les tuyaux gaz français sont équipés à chaque bout d'un écrou d'un 1/2 tour droit femelles. Sans adaptateur, il est impossible de brancher cet appareil à un autre détendeur que celui qui est livré, détendeur inadapté au butane, je le rappelle. Et, cerise sur le gâteau, l'adaptateur qui serait nécessaire, 1/4 de tour femelle gauche pour le brancher à l'appareil et 1/2 tour droit pour se brancher à un tuyau français est quasiment introuvable : tous ceux proposés sur Amazon sont 1/4 de tour mâle gauche au lieu de femelle et 1/2 tour droit femelle au lieu de gauche. Un seul site, pas très bien jugé, le propose pour 21 euros frais d'envoi compris et une grande enseigne de bricolage en propose 10 (vendus comme raccords pour compresseurs allemands) pour 26 euros hors frais d'envoi. Pour résumer, cet appareil ne peut fonctionner tel qu'il est vendu qu'avec son tuyau de branchement qui sera difficile de remplacer dans 1 an et avec le détendeur livré dangereusement inadapté au butane, sauf recherches fastidieuses et frais conséquents. Je le renvoie avec demande de remboursement.
