DLP Tactical Stalker Soft Shell Waterproof & Windproof Fleece Hooded Jacket

I was looking for a wind & waterproof jacket for concealed carry. I have been a fan of North Face jackets in the past but they lacked the number of pockets I wanted and are expensive. This jacket has more pockets than you could ever need, a very clever design, the quality is as good & costs much less than NF. It has media cutouts in the chest and arm pockets to run headphones/wires through, also the hood draw strings are routed into the body of the coat so the strings are not dangling down getting snagged on things (and you can tighten the hood without taking your hands out of the pockets, very cool). The zippered air cutout under the arms is brilliant for humid rain conditions. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to roll up and secure the hood, but once i figured it out it looked and felt great.NOTE: The jacket does run a little small, I read others posts before buying and went XL and I'm glad I did, a standard L would have been too small for me (i'm 6'2 200lbs) so go a size up from your norm. Also this jacket has an athletic fit, which looks trim and stylish but would not be flattering or comfortable if your carrying a huge spare tire around your waist.

What's not to love about this jacket, it is a very sturdy build and comfortable to wear. It moves freely, keeps me dry, blocks the wind, and has plenty of pockets for me to carry my basic survival gear everywhere I go. Love this jacket and may have found Christmas gifts for this year. Definitely, should order a size larger than normally worn.

This is a good proof of concept, by design. But by no means is the exterior of this coat "stalker" anything. My family uses the clothing we have FOR hunting not for fashion. So this outer shell would be the equivalent of trying to drag a kite through a hedge row in silence. The fit was perfect for my son. He loves the pockets, the cut is NOT pre articulated in the arms, like his last two coats. But for whatever reason fit my son just fine. Pr9bably because he's a prepubescent 14 yr old.

This is a 3 star review because it is on the small side, actually very small for a men's large. Most tactical clothing and hunting camo is cut on the larger side to accommodate layering and gear but this is quite the opposite.

This 2xl jacket was probably sized for a child. I am 6 ft tall and the arm length was 5 inches from my wrist. The shoulder width was the same way, way to small for an adult size. Don’t waste time or money on this product.

If you want to layer then I would suggest getting a size bigger. It fits a little snug. Overall pleased with the jacket. Definitely worth the money. Blocks mild wind but I wouldnt reccomend using as a heavy winter coat. It repels water just as well if not better than high end name brands.

I benefited from other reviews on the fitting of this jacket. Great jacket w/ pockets everywhere but no waist pockets? Weird. This jacket is not for “thick” folks though and definitely bump UP at least 1 size.... I usually fit large but did XL and it worked perfectly

Sizes are smaller then what you oder, buy 2 size more in order for it to fit
