Don’t believe the hype
I ordered sheer light pink. It looks like a coral colour. I thought okay I can live with it I hate wasting money but after five minutes I removed it. I had to do my manicure all over again. It looks pink in the bottle but defiantly coral when you put it on and nothing sheer about it. I ended up putting my regular Essie nail polish on and the new top coat on. Will update on how well the top coat works. The top coat doesn’t last any longer than regular top coat. The shine is great but it chips quickly. I gave stars so people would see it.

Great but not perfect!
Love the color and the fact that it drys so quickly. However it does seem to chip easily. Might need to allow more time in between coats.

Not labeled right?
The color is correct but the bottle is not labeled “step 1” or indicative of being the Essie gel color. Label says “nail lacquer”. I had this done at the salon last month which is why i bought my own set. Top coat arrived right; just concerned the color isn't the right product.

My choice of polishes
Several years ago I thought that if the Essie brand nail polished was good enough for Queen Elizabeth II, they would certainly be good for me. Since then this is the only brand I use. Gel polish look without the lamp or scraping the polish off. Regular remover takes care of that. Right now I have polish on that has been there for two weeks and still looks great.
