Why has it not quite tripled in price?!** A: Because staff wants to capitalize off needy people and make as much money as possible. **Q: Will this adhere to it self ?** A: Yes it will pretty well.. I used a tube on my rv skylight then later discovered that I needed to thicken it in a few areas. Thoroughly clean the surface then apply. Solved the issue last winter. Haven’t been up there for a look how it made it through the summer though. **Q: What product is recommended for adhering solar panel mounts to the roof of a tent trailer?** A: Sikaflex 221 is a really strong adhesive sealant... It can take up to a week for the Sikaflex to fully cure in colder temperatures. In temps above 70 degrees F. it takes about 5 days to fully cure. Once cured it is extremely durable and wont shrink and crack like traditional sealants, when exposed to the outside environment. However, I would never rely on just a sealent/adhesive to secure such an expensive item like a solar panel. Let alone the issue of the panels acting like a large sail on the roof of an RV and can cause some serious lift.
