Exo Terra Forest Branch Small - Natural Wood Terrarium Decoration

I ordered two of these for my baby gargoyle gecko and he loves them! I see him climbing on them all the time and they have a good weight and girth to them so they’re not flimsy or anything.

This is perfect for my tarantula enclosure. It’s an arid desert species so this will fit right in. Not too big and nice shape to it. I’m going to pick up another since it’s so nice and arrived in great condition. Also no odors.

It was strong and it was a very well chosen portion very pretty and large for the small size that I ordered. I sawed it to fit my jumping spiders enclosure and still had plenty left over BUT BUT BUT 😬 it grew mold within 2-3 days after a few mistings so I highly recommend you buy MINWAX CLEAR MATTE POLYCRYLIC to seal it before placing in ANY enclosure that holds humidity. Matte will help older spiders grib onto it. Also it will CURE quicker than most other alternatives. Just wanted to prevent anyone from going through what I had to go through. I literally had to redo my whole bioactive enclosure and place my poor little jumper in a glass container while I tore down his new habitat. I removed the stick and scrubbed it with dawn dish soap and vinegar then baked it in the oven at 250 for 45 min or so to kill off bacteria and remove any left over spores then let it dry completely before I sealed it then let it cure for two days and IF YOU ARE THINKING that spring tails and isopods will prevent this from happening to you. YOU WOULD BE WRONG. If you are a NEWBIE (like I was) and are going to buy this for your jumping spider then know that mold will KILL you pet spider since their respiratory system is super sensitive. You will waste time and money if you don’t do this first. HOPE THIS HELPS overall I LOVED it; it was a good purchase but would have ALSO loved for the seller to include this information since they recommended it for pet habitats that require humid environments.

Natrual qualitiy

Definitely a much smaller stick than pictured. Also it’s basically just one stick. Not multiple branches as shown. Still works for a small piece. But if you are looking for something to help with a more arboreal reptile I wouldn’t recommend it.

I really like this branch. The size and shape were both perfect and it looks very natural in the tank. I used it for my vampire crab setup and it fits in beautifully. It arrived in good condition, had a nice natural look, and was easy to place exactly where I wanted. My tank looks much better with it. Definitely recommend if you’re making a natural style enclosure or aquarium.
