Works well and the cat seems to like it.
Okay this is just the picture of the stray that I have been feeding and if you look at him he looks relatively healthy now. When he showed up at the door his eyes were crusted shut and I couldn't catch him to get him to a vet. This product is a game changer. Over the course of a couple of weeks his eyes cleared up his fur looked better and he over all just started acting like he felt well.

Works well in fighting allergies in cats.
Very prompt shipping. I have been using this on my cats for over a year and have been successfully helped with allergies.

This will work and it taste good to my kitties
If you have a cat with herpes, which is a super common thing for cats, this is a little pricey, but it is the best you can buy. I buy treats with lysing in it for my cat because the herpes never goes away. He got it from the sanctuary. I got him from you need to constantly make sure that you provide some kind of licensing to them. This is the best one if you can afford it the treats you can get at Petco, but they are also pricey, and they are not guaranteed to be as well concentrated as this product

Limp tail?
I'm not really sure if it's related to this product, and I didn't write this review until it happened a second time in another cat. When I first used this product about a year ago, no issues and I do believe it helped my cat get over a cold. However recently I fed this to the same cat almost a year later, about a month ago after he started sneezing, then his tail went mostly limp, from mid tail to tip, it was dragging on the floor after a few doses of this, the next day. I didn't think it was related to this product at all, but his sneezing stopped, so I stopped giving it him. This morning, an outdoor neighborhood cat that claimed me was bitten by something, I was worried he'd get infected, so I gave him a half teaspoon of this. About an hour later, his tail also went limp! Not as limp as my indoor cat that I had fed more of it to, but that seemed to be too much of a coincidence, so I threw the rest of the product out. Googling l lysine, I don't think the active ingredient would have caused this, but I'm wondering if an ingredient that is used for flavoring or an inactive ingredient maybe has something to do with it? I am not claiming this product actually caused limp tail, but the coincidence was real, and decided to write this review in case it happens to anyone else. I decided to go ahead and purchase another brand, just in case, I don't want to risk it.

Boosts immunity, helps pets, great product!
Lysine is an immune booster & very helpful for immunocompromised cats & dogs. My vet prescribed lysine for my dog that I measured out & sprinkled on his food. Then my 21 yr old kitty caught a cold while I was sick too & vet prescribed lysine in this gel Viralys form daily for him in his old age to help keep him from getting sick. He lived to be 23! The gel form is much easier to give to cats & they either like the flavor or can’t tell when it’s on their food (I’m not sure which); & can be put directly on the tongue if using a syringe. I just put a 1cc needle-less syringe to the tip of the Viralys tube & draw while squeezing a tiny bit on the tube & no waste/no mess. I just put 0.5cc on top of my kitty’s canned food once a day & the tube lasts quite a long time for 1 cat, so not bad! Sadly, he was my little antique by time he reached his 23rd b-day & departed. I’m now using Viralys to help keep a FeLV very immunosuppressed cat from getting sick (along w/ no exposure to other cats or any sick people & keeping her indoors only) so she can live a happy life as long as possible w/o succumbing to every virus & bug that comes near. It’s a challenge but one of love. So I immediately started her on Viralys in hopes that it might help even in this severe case. For most pets, this is hands down a very good choice!! The verdict is still out in the case of the cat I’m trying to help that has essentially no immunity at all, but it sure won’t hurt her & just might help a little too. I do know it’s a great product from my own past experience & also because it was vet reccommended for my sweet ancient little guy as well as previous knowledge & use of lysine for people & dogs.

Cat sneezing
I NEVER leave a review. This stuff is amazing. Our cat was sneezing constantly, pretty bad. I made a vet appointment. Figured I'd try this because her appointment was a week out and she looked miserable. One day, no more sneezing or watering eyes! Don't hesitate to buy if your cat is having the sniffles!👍

Amazing help for my cat!
My veterinarian 1st included this in treatment for my cat when he had infections in both ears. He came as a stray 4 yrs ago & was constantly sneezing with mucus going everywhere. After a few days of using Viralys, the sneezing was drastically reduced. When that original tube was gone, I ordered this from Amazon. As long as this continues to work, I will never be without it!

I Have To Accept And Live With Reality, But I Can Still Choose Who I Buy From
To begin with, if this product is so popular, they need to keep the proper amount of inventory in stock. A product like this can be considered critical to the owner of an ailing pet. I had never heard of "Feline Herpes" and I've had cats my entire life. When my INDOOR 3 year old cat started sneezing, the Vet calmly told me what it was and I freaked out. "He's got WHAT?" I said. But he's an indoor cat and only goes outside with me in a harness on a leash. Yes, I walk my cat like a dog and I've been doing that since he was 8 months old. All my other cats were allowed to go outside because that's the way I was raised with cats growing up. But they all died from disease or getting hit by a car eventually and I didn't want that to happen ever again. So I bit the bullet and decided this cat would be an indoor cat and only go out when I was with him. Then I said, "Excuse me. Are you saying that because he barely touched noses for less than 2 seconds with the neighbor's outdoor cat that he now has this **** too? Where the **** is this coming from and why is it so easy to get it and why haven't I heard of it before?" The Vet told me that EVERY outdoor cat has it and that was just unacceptable to me. So imagine my agony when he explained that I don't have a choice but to accept it and deal with it. He said it's brought on by stress. Just like human herpes. He said I had to get on the Internet and buy some of this medicine and give it to him twice a day. So I got on the Internet and read 9 hours of reviews and hey, it's my kid. So yeah I did that. This product in the gel form was the only way to get my kid to take stuff like this and it was the overall best product I could find with the highest amount of the ingredient I needed my cat to ingest. My high energy, happy, strong, normally crazy funny cat had been sneezing and sickly for the first time in his life and he had been this way for 3 days already and it didn't seem to be getting better. So needless to say, I was anxious to get this stuff. The purchase at checkout said I would have it in 3 days, but it took over a week to get it because they were out of stock. By that time I had already gone to the local Pet Mart and got the maximum percentage I could find which was only 50mg. I had to crush it up and mix it into a batch of gel hairball treatment to get him to take it. I spread it on his leg and he licks it off. That's our way of getting him to take stuff he wouldn't take on his own. After 4 days his sneezing slowed down and he seemed to begin feeling better but in all honesty, he had been sick for almost two weeks now so just going by the calendar and all things being equal, he probably would have been getting better by then anyway. So I can't tell you if it's because of this product or not. Finally, after 3 weeks now he seems to have his energy back close to normal but still not 100% and he still sneezes at least once or twice a day and I've been giving him this oral gel every day and I will continue to do so in the absence of knowing what else to do. But if this Gel worked, wouldn't his sneezing be gone by now? I don't know what to do or think. I'm still mad that they took so long getting this to me because they couldn't keep the proper stock on hand. If it happens again, I'll find another distributor to order it from. Otherwise, my review is mixed and my young kitty is where he is now because of some b***s*** disease I'd never even heard of before.

Cat loves the taste
I realize all cats have different tastes, but I can say with confidence that my cat loves this stuff. He’ll meow at me as soon as he sees me take it out of the fridge. I squirt some into his bowl and he goes to town on it until it’s gone. Two squirts a day. As far as it’s effectiveness at boosting immune system, he has feline herpes and is prone to flare ups. He hasn’t had one in a couple years now. He’s just 3 yo.
