A high-level overview of Northern Light travelling. Emphasis on high-level.
My expectations for the book were likely too high, but, nonetheless, I didn't feel the book really provided that much useful information. If you're just starting your research for a trip, then it might be useful, but if you've done any digging already, you'll likely find that the information in the book is so high-level that it ceases to be very useful for real planning. It's a short book with about 10 pages dedicated to actual locations to see the northern lights; I had hoped for more specifics - not just go to the Lofoten Islands in Norway, but if certain towns, beaches, etc. are more accessible than others in winter for viewing. It touches on few specifics. Other information, such as history, other activities, etc., while interesting, is really just filler, and again, gives little more than an idea that you'll need to go to other sources to learn what you really need to know.

I enjoyed the material and hope that their packing tips will stand me in good stead, but it was much shorter than anticipated. The concise explanation of the aurora borealis was well done.

Four Stars
Some solid, practical advice for viewing the Northern Lights.

Worthless.
This book contains very rudimentary information not worth the money. There not much guidance as to go around to travel places where one could see the Aurora.

Seeing the Northern Lights is a "bucket list" item for me. This book gives a lot of info on places to go where you can see them. Unfortunately the only part of the world NOT covered is eastern Canada. Since I live near Washington DC traveling to the places mentioned is a really expensive journey. It would have been nice if the author could have provided some info on eastern Canada since this would be a less expensive trip. If anyone has info I would love to hear from you.

Disappointed
Small booklet, more like something you'd be given as complimentary on a specialist tour

Tiny skinny book!
This is so tiny, it's more like a brochure than a book. Only a couple of pages about Iceland.

el libro es muy fino, esperaba que tuviera mas contenido. Me llegó dentro del paquete con una esquina de la portada doblada.

One Star
It is more like a pamphlet than a book. Significantly overpriced
