Amazing product. I bought two, two years ago and they lasted two seasons of any trips to the water park, pool, and river. Touch screen does not work under water but if your camera is set up you can push the side button to take the shot or start and stop video. My pics and videos have turned out great! Mine finally cracked on the seam from the top but it was used a lot and I think my teen opened them too far when inserting her phone, so would suggest not prying it open too far in the top or forcing too many items into it and I always test time with a paper towel in the pool first just to be positive it won’t leak (everything produced will have an occasional defect) but so far I’ve had 4 with no defects.Hope this helps!!Love the product!!

I used this for sailing and kayaking and it worked well. Even when my other belongs were completely soaked my phone would be perfectly dry inside this case. Neither the front nor rear facing cameras are obstructed by this case. One gripe is that using the side buttons is difficult because of the shape of the case.Eventually I lost the phone and case when I capsized a C420 and didn't have the case secured, so it sank in the ocean. Using the included lanyard and armband would have saved this case and my Nexus 5.Cons: Does not come with pictured photo of woman

I spent a lot of money on a new iPhone. I live and work on the water and am always at risk of losing my phone to water, whether dropping it overboard or from rain exposure. This product protects my phone by keeping it teathered to me, so I can't drop it, and covers it with a clear plastic, waterproof bag. It is still usable inside the bag. The touch screen still senses my finger even though there is a layer of bag between the screen and my finger. The bag is big enough for most pocket sized phones. The only drawback is the bag is a bit larger than some pockets. You would have to leave it hanging around your neck or put the whole thing in another carry bag or purse. When properly closed, it will float and keep the phone dry. I don' t think rain would ever be an issue. It seems durable and would work well for carrying attached to a day pack or any other outdoor situation. It is working well for me.

Worked exactly as I hoped. Completely waterproof for my iphone 6 + id, cash & credit card. I did the napkin test first, to ensure it was waterproof, but even then I was nervous. Wore it while on vacation in Hawaii, while playing around on the beach and grew my confidence level. By the end of the trip, I had it on while in the rain and even while snorkeling at Haunama Bay with not a drop of water leakage! I was even able to take some pics underwater, although when submerged, it becomes a lot harder to get the screen to respond to touch. Outside of water, the touchscreen works perfectly, and I took loads of pics, texted & made phone calls all while it was inside the pouch. You sometimes have to reposition it inside, to keep distortion out of the pic, but the distortion can also give a cool retro look to the pics.

I like having my phone nearby when I'm in the pool. It's supposed to be a waterproof phone, but the rubber part around the charging port cover came off recently so I don't trust it around water now. I just got this this afternoon, so I haven't been outside with it yet. But I soaked it with a tissue inside and it came out dry after about 40 minutes. The screen still works perfectly, in fact I'm typing this review through this waterproof case right now just for kicks. The compass is a cute little add-on and it works, I just have to angle it right for it to spin because it gets stuck. The lanyard is great because I can just put it over my neck if my hands are full. The armband also works fine, but this phone is so big on my arm that I may not use it that way. I have a Sony Xperia z3v and was afraid the phone would be too big, but it's perfect. My phone is white like the case, so it matches and looks cool too. So far so good!UPDATEI've had this case with me by (and in) the pool on and off all summer, and have had no issues. The phone screen works well when inside this case, as long as it's above water. It doesn't work very well *under* the water, like for taking pictures, because I guess the weight of the water presses in on it and erratically taps on certain parts of the screen. It takes me from the camera out to my home page and into some random settings or apps so I have to pull it out from the water before it gets me into trouble! But I don't need underwater pictures. It still works as it should, and is still recommend it.

The case is not waterproof and the touch screen doesn't work well in or out of the water. I did exactly as the instructions said and when we first got into the water to snorkel the case filled up with water - thank heavens my phone is waterproof. I dumped the water out and tried using the camera but the camera wouldn't work with the case over it. I was really disappointed about the camera case not working since I had planned on taking pictures while snorkeling.I will say the case worked good for out of water and holds your ID, money, etc. But even out of the water the touchscreen doesn't work well with the case on.
