Does it come with white pot?

No, mine was an extremely healthy plant but wasn’t in a white pot - just an ordinary bog standard pot.

Is this child friendly? Looking at a fern to go with a dinosaur display for my 5 year old

I'm not sure what exactly you mean by 'child friendly ', as like all house plants, should not be consumed under any circumstances, (so, if there's a risk, then no), but in terms of being near the plant, and touching it while playing then yes, I think it's absolutely fine. It is not prickly, or sensitive, in fact quite soft actually. And I always touch it, when lifting up the leaves to water it. (Which your child could do too :). It would make a wonderful dinosaur display I think.

Has the fern been treated with any chemicals?

No, I don't think so. They love humidity so I spray water on the fern leaf once a week
