My hairdresser recommended this since she noticed redness and flakes on my scalp, and hair falling out more than normal. I have dealt with dry scalp my whole life and struggle with having to switch products all the time. In addition to some other tips, I’ve incorporated using this on my scalp 1-2x per month and it has improved my scalp health more than anything I’ve ever used. It does slightly “burn” after 5 min with some itchiness, but I think that’s part of the mixture and usually that’s when I wash out. The smell is a bit metallic but there’s zinc in this, and I rather the product just smell like what it’s supposed to with natural ingredients than add in fragrance that would for sure irritate my scalp. Overall, it is small, but mighty and partitioning your hair is the key to make sure you get all your scalp covered.

This does exactly what it should. It clarifies any impurities on your scalp just beware it did strip my hair color at the roots. I was prepared for that and didn’t use it until it was time for a root touch up. My hair and scalp felt clean and moisturized.

This is a really great product to clarify the scalp. It works really great at removing any product, hard water, dryness, etc. And for how deeply it cleans it is not super drying (I always follow with a deep conditioner). I use this on average about once a month to help my scalp feel really clean, sometimes more in the winter because it does help with flakes from dry weather. My only complaint it does leave a faint odor after using, it’s not exactly bad and my husband can never smell anything but it’s not my favorite. Luckily on the next wash it will go away. Even with that it is still worth it for how well it works.

My hairdresser recommended me using these after our last appointment. My scalp has been dry with flakes and some red patches. At first when I got them I was surprised by the small size of the packaging and questioned if it would be enough in one packet. When I was in the shower I cut the top of the package and added some water directly into it. Mixed with my finger until I got a smooth consistency. After that squeezed small amounts out into my palm and started to apply all over my scalp. I had extra leftover so I put in a jar for another time. This product took the flakes away and cleared up my red spots after one use. It didn’t make my hair dry or oily as I did my normal shampoo after I let it sit for a while in my hair. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get a clean scalp at home.

I absolutely love this for my scalp! I suffer from dry and itchy scalp. I use this 1 to 2 times per week, and it really helps.

I used this product with the recommended shampoo, although I loved the shampoo but this product doesn't do anything different. Suggesting to just stick to the shampoo and don't waste my on this.

Am I the only one who finds this incredibly difficult to apply? It's messy to constitute with water and then especially hard to apply to the scalp. It gets lost in my hair and barely reaches my scalp.

This is the only thing that helped my daughter rebalance her hair and make it beautiful. We tried so many things for months but it always looked greasy. This stuff is amazing!
