Great mouse! Definitely read the instructions before using it!

I had this mouse for some 4 years before it was damaged in shipping (it cannot withstand a 30lb impact, confirmed). Now a disclaimer: I am a casual-at-best gamer. I routinely get trounced by children in competitive games, so I can't speak to DPI and latency. I know I never noticed any issues with the mouse causing me to fail, I'm just cheeks. That said, I like the design for my preferred claw grip, the battery life was astonishing (literally months if not year+ assuming you turn it off when not in use), the feel was great without being loud and annoying, and there were no unnecessary LEDs that I'll never notice when using it. After trying a different brand I found on sale locally, I'm going back to this because the "super best DPI and latency" mouse lights up for no reason, has a battery life in days rather than months (recharge with usb, but still), is thicker for no apparent reason (which I find pointless and uncomfortable), and has a few annoying software quirks. This mouse has none of those, which is why I'm going back.

Comfortable to hold and play games on the go. Comes with a small faux leather carry case and batteries, easy to pair to laptop and moves smoothly when gaming. Feels accurate, has a satisfying click and has plenty of remappale buttons to keep most people happy.

Utilizzo il mouse sia per lavoro che per il gaming, è un mouse esteticamente semplice (no LED) e piccolo, ma super ergonomico, e racchiude estrema precisione nel movimento. Trovo comodissima la possibilità di configurare 3 profili diversi, e settare ad ogni profilo 2 tipi di sensibilità in DPI. Cambiare tra i profili è molto semplice, anche durante il gioco, io lo uso solitamente a 2200 DPI per il lavoro e arrivo a 2800 DPI per il gaming, su 7200 DPI massimi. Dà subito un impatto positivo al primo movimento, si nota davvero tanta fluidità e precisione. Possibilità di cambiare Frequenza di polling, reattività dei tasti, settare l'angle snap tutto tramite il software Armoury Crate, su cui è possibile appunto gestire il dispositivo. Comprato tramite WareHouse ad un'offerta imperdibile per questa linea di prodotti Asus, è un mouse perfetto e super affidabile. Le batterie erano incluse, purtroppo non erano inclusi switch sostitutivi.

Alternative Produkte, teilweise auch über 100 Euro, waren mir mit Ausfälle der Mausräder oder der Tasten bekanntgeworden. Ich suchte keine Gaming-Maus, sondern eine präzise und robuste Maus für den Büroalltag und für die Bildbearbeitung. Zunächst fällt beim Auspacken dieser Maus auf, dass sie verhältnismäßig klein ist. Für unterwegs ist das praktisch, man sollte jedoch anhand der Maße prüfen, ob die Größe noch für die eigene Hand bzw. längeres ermüdungsfreies Arbeiten reicht. Dann stellt man fest, dass an der Unterseite der Ein-/Ausschalter zusätzlich zwischen einer normalen „Bluetooth“ und dem (zusätzlichen) dedizierten USB-Dongel wechselt. Der kleine USB-Stick kann unter der Mausabdeckung sicher gelagert werden. Nett ist auch die beiliegende Transporthülle mit Reißverschluss. So bleibt die Maus unterwegs sauber und verstaubt nicht durch irgendwelchen Papierabrieb in der Aktentasche. Die Funktion: Die Maus macht einen robusten und wertigen Eindruck. Die Tasten haben alle einen guten Druckpunkt und – mir besonders wichtig – das relativ breite Mausrad ist (zumindest im Neuzustand) präzise und wackelfrei. Dies ist mir bei Bildbearbeitungen wichtig, auch wenn ich ein Grafiktablett zusätzlich benutze. Es sind jeweils zwei Einstellungsmodi auf drei Sets frei festlegbar, d.h. die DPI-Abtastung, Ausrichtung, Klickgeschwindigkeit kann variabel festgelegt werden und schnell mittels Tastenkombinationen gewechselt werden. Die (einstellbare) Abtastrate ist ausgezeichnet, nicht nur auf meiner Naturledermatte, auch auf dem Granitschreibtisch mit glatter Oberfläche funktioniert die Maus präzise und einwandfrei. Die technische Besonderheit: Bei Asus ist der (innenliegende) Klick-Mechanismus austauschbar. Diese Bauteile sind Verschleißteile, bei jedem Hersteller und jeder Maus. Die wenigsten Hersteller liefern jedoch Ersatzteile. Jede Maus wird zunehmend unpräzise und ist dann Sondermüll. Asus legt nicht nur zwei weitere Ersatzteile und ein kleines Werkzeug mit in die Packung, man kann diese bei Bedarf auch nachordern. Dies ist nicht nur bei hochbelasteten Gaming-Mäusen wichtig; wo es auf Präzision ankommt, werden diese Ersatzteile irgendwann fällig. Kleiner negativer Punkt: Die Maus funktioniert nur mit den Grundmodi ohne zusätzliche Software „Plug-and Play“. Wie üblich muss für die volle Funktionalität ein Treiber aus dem Netz nachgeladen werden. Der belastet die eigene Festplatte in diesem Fall aber mit rund 340 MegaByte ??? Das ist der größte jemals von mir gesehene Maustreiber. Fazit: Ich finde mit rund Euro 70 ist das eine mittelpreisige Maus, die hochwertig daherkommt und präzise arbeitet. Wenn dies längerfristig der Fall ist, werde ich weitere Mäuse gegen dieses Modell austauschen.
