A: You can connect the 4 drive enclosure by eSATA wityh this, but your motherboard's SATA controller needs to be able to support port multiplying with eSATA. If it does, then your computer should recognize all drives.

**Q: Do you have one that supports internal sata power and data ports (i have an external drive enclosure with separate sata and power connections)?**
A: You are looking for eSATAp variants and connections. Where "e" means External, "SATA" means Serial Advanced Technology Attachment, "p" means Power over connection.

Shoutouts to Startech for always making incredibly specific and niche products that you always wind up needing. I had an old PC case with an eSATA port I used regularly, and I needed to upgrade the case without sacrificing the port. This simple bracket with a port on it was all I needed and lets me connect harddrives plug and play eSATA with no issue.
