I bought this as a gift for my daughter and it turned into a really nice activity for us to do together. The size of the terrarium is just right for kids, small enough to fit on a shelf or desk but still big enough for them to feel proud of what they created. The growth area is limited, which makes it manageable and easy to care for, especially for younger kids who are just learning how to take care of plants. Everything came packaged neatly, the instructions were easy to follow with a little adult help, and the whole project felt calm and creative rather than rushed. The chia seeds sprouted exactly as promised—we saw the first tiny green shoots on day 2! Watching him check on his "axolotl's hair" every morning became a joyful routine. I bought this as a gift for a friend’s 5-year-old, and she absolutely loved it! It’s such a cute and creative little project — colorful, easy to assemble, and perfect for kids who enjoy hands-on crafts. Her mom said it kept her entertained and the finished mermaid garden looks adorable on display. Great value and a wonderful gift idea for young kids. The downside is that I have purchased other variations of this kit for my own kids and realized that the sprouts seem to get moldy after a short time - so it doesnt last long

This was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter that is 7 years old. She loves that it was unicorn and it had alot with the kit. Would buy again the quality is great. I was not able to get pictures due to it being a gift sent to her. She loves the colors. With her age it's safe for her to use . Well worth the money. I would say the age range is great. It can grow as they grow.

Sent the dinosaur garden as a gift for my grand boys (age 4 and 7). they loved it! Within a day the seeds were sprouting too! Cute project!

This is a great entertaining activity for kids with their mums. It’s small and not messy and other than kids having the chance to decorate their garden they also will learn responsibility as they would have to take care of their plant for it to thrive .
