A: If you mean if it will seal (to prevent leaks) between fludhes, I think that either material will work if the material is smooth and free of any cracks or material. The water presdure in the tank will kerp it seal until it is flush. Or that is the idea. Good luck.

A: all i know is that this thing did not fix my problem, the flap is still leaking
