A Professional-quality Bike Wrench.
Although in general a lot of bike maintenance jobs can easily be carried out using a “bike multi-tool" or even just with a few 'Allen Keys', using a Torque Wrench can help prevent the over-tightening of components and their potential damage (or damage to the bike frame itself) which over-tightening can cause (especially in relation to carbon fibre). The use of an accurate Torque Wrench, such as the Pro Bike Tool Torque Wrench, is therefore a good idea for any ‘home bike mechanic’. The Pro Bike Tool’s bigger ‘brand named’ equivalent is somewhat expensive in my view, however, this Pro Bike Tool I dare say, is just as good in use and costs a lot less money (although it’s still not cheap). This wrench is very easy to use, and comes with all the commonly used ‘Hex Socket Bits’ for use with the various sized ‘Hex Socket Cap-Screws' typically found on bikes, and offers the full range of what are the quite low torque settings (between 2NM and 20NM) that you’re ever likely to need for any bike maintenance job. The only exception here, relates to the much higher torque required to tighten the 'Bottom Bracket' on most bikes which typically calls for the use of a larger, more everyday 1/2" Drive or 3/8" Drive Torque Wrench providing the greater torque required for this sort of application - typically of around 35NM for a Bottom Bracket on a bike with an aluminium frame. This Pro Bike Tool is also a very nicely finished product and the Black version I've purchased looks stunning. This product also comes in a very neat and practical (as well as protective) plastic storage case. A small ‘Instruction Manual’ - or rather a simple ‘Leaflet’ - is included with it which I’d advise anyone to read before using this tool, however, this is a very well-designed product in my opinion, and is very easy to use. This is a quality, precision product which should last a lifetime if used with care and respect, and is something I’d thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to buy a decent torque wrench designed for bicycle use.

Excellent accuracy
This was just the right tool for just the right time. I needed a 2Nm torque capability to tighten a set of bike racks on aero bars. It's very easy to strip steel bolts out of aluminium rails but you also need the equipment to be secure. This did the job perfectly, with a clearly audible click at precisely the right torque. Absolutely spot on, and all delivered on a Sunday when I realised I needed the tool on Saturday afternoon! I really do appreciate just how useful and timely this was. Thank you.

Product is good quality
Product looks well designed and manufactured. The torque wrench and tools are good quality and are supplied in useful tool box. Setting up the wrench is simple and it is easy to adjust the setting. The head of the wrench is narrow which makes it better to get into tighter areas. The 'click' and movement of the wrench on reaching the correct torque is obvious although quiet and concerns from other reviews seem overly critical and maybe only apply in a noisy environment. Would recommend this product.

Absolutely worth it, made in taiwan, comes with test certificate
I wanted to give my road bike a full service as it hadn't been used in over a year. Unfortunately, my local bicycle shop was quoting £120 for the full rebuild service and their workshops would not reopen until mid June. Desperate to get back onto the road, I decided to rebuild my bike myself, all the way down to the wheel ball bearings. But given that my bike has carbon parts, I needed a torque wrench to tighten everything back together to the right torques. I was hesitant to buy this wrench given that there weren't many quality options available, but the reviews sold it. I took the plunge and all I can say is I was super excited to finally learn how much torque to apply on all my bicycle bolts! The wrench is very good quality and is made in Taiwan, which came as a pleasant surprise. It includes a test certificate (see photo) which shows that the wrench torques were quality checked and are accurate within the tolerance specifications (±4% clockwise and ±6% counter clockwise). This latest model comes with an all black stem, so no shiny chrome. I imagine this change was to make the markings on the stem easier to read. Never having used a torque wrench before, my advice: after setting the designed torque, turn the wrench very slowly when bolts start to tighten. When the head jumps/clicks, stop! You've reached the right torque. This is a must-have for all owners of bicycles with carbon parts or those with traditional steel and aluminium frames wanting to fully service their bikes at home.

Excellent tool, quality and value
This is the best quality bike tool that I own. The quality and design is excellent. The hard shell case with ratchet closure is a very good feature and really useful rather than having a tool floating around a toolbox. The case has bit sizes embossed into it making it much clearer and easier to select the right bit rather than looking reading the size from the embossed stainless steel itself. Usage of the wrench is easy and the instructions and calibration certificate are great. The visibility of the torque scale is good and clear. The included bits are high quality and a good range to cover all bike usages as is the torque range. For general bike maintenance this tool is perfect and excellent value for the quality. It’s a compact tool with a max torque of 20Nm, so covers everything apart from high torque jobs, but for those you wouldn’t be able to use such a compact wrench anyway. The torque reached indication is more of a slip motion than an audible click, but that’s fine one you’re used to it. A quick practice using a low torque setting will show you what to expect. Overall a great investment for bike maintenance and would highly recommend.

Accurate tool. I have two carbon bikes and I was always worried about making damage with too much torque when fixing something on the bike. Now not anymore…
