I am no fan of the Gronk until he moves to DC, but this rower is awesome. Of course that is because it comes in my favorite color. To make this exercise effective you have to Row with other exercises like at Orange Therapy. I row for 5 minutes before I walk work and then 5 minutes and ride the bike when I get home. It is that easy that I can do it twice a day. I turn on the TV and before you know it I'm done with a 1,000 meter row. I opted for the Hi-Rise because I did not want to look up to see the TV, but the low rise would have been sufficient. The Hi-Rise puts my TV at eye level. I also had concerns about the damage to my carpeting. I don't think my carpet was at risk. I did buy the mat for underneath. So the Hi-rise may be a little overkill. Assembly was relatively easy and not worth paying someone $100 bucks to do for you. In most cases the installer has no better experience than you. Unless you are inept or to busy to be bothered then I recommend that you do it yourself. Their are plenty of videos on line to help you out. Just watch the video a few times and it will be a snap (note the steel rower assembly is different from the wood). The Rower is a quality built machine. It is a little pricy but don't have a regret for not buying the best. My only regret is not buying this last year, I could be sexy now. PS You can't buy the lo-rise and make it a hi-rise later. The online registration was easy.

I love this rower and have been wanting one since I used it at my fitness studio. It was super easy to put together and I love the way it rows. However the monitor came pre installed and very wobbly with no instructions on how to tighten it. This would be a five star review if the resources spoke to this at all. Hoping to hear back from the seller on how to address so it’s mounted bc the tech itself is also great.

This is awesome! My husband used to love the rowing machine when he was younger. Now, it's hard for him to crawl in and out of the floor-level seats of most rowers. But this seat is the same height as a regular chair, making it easy to get into and out of, so now he can do the rowing machine again! Great low-impact overall exercise, too - we both use it! We have Asian/Mid-Century Modern-style decor and it goes with all our furniture - we keep it in the living room - looks great! Operation is nearly silent - just a slight swishing as the paddle goes through the wheel - very quiet and almost Zen. Assembly is pretty straightforward - the hardest thing to put together was attaching the foot board. The instructions say assembly goes together in 30-45 minutes. Not for me - it took me 2-3 days, working alone. It's definitely a 2-man job, preferably younger men with strength to lift, balance, and bolt the foot board on simultaneously. Worth it, though. If you're older, or don't have a lot of strength, or are not used to assembling this type of thing, it's worth it to have someone else do it for you. The rower itself is Definitely worth the cost, time and effort - I would buy it again.

Amazing! Purchase this with apple fitness so you can follow rowing classes on your Apple TV and it’s better than Orange theory classes. Very happy with this purchase.

the overall design is really great. i have to ding it, bit time, on the computer. its hard to read, not intuitive to use, is a fixed LED (black on white) screen, doent have wifi or bluetooth and the connector is miniUSB, which is 2 gens behind USBC and 1 gen behind MicroUSB. For this money, they have to step up their game. Do any of their engineers work with well rated bike computers? why should this computer be any different? it's a bit embarrassing, imop, and makes using the product a bit of a drag, which is unfortunate. I also think access to the tank port is meh, but it's hard to knock them on that b/c it's not a frequent use feature. so fix the computer and it would be a whole different experience. i'm keeping it and hoping something is upgraded soon.

This rowing machine is the bomb! It was easy to instal and immediately put to work. It's beautiful to look at and makes our gym look really classy. It requires minimal maintenance - just clean off sweat with a damp cloth after each session and add a tab to the water container every few months, and voila!

Solid and perfect. Not super easy to assemble but it meets all of our expectations
