SCOTTeVEST 101 Vest for Men, 9 Pockets, Water Repellent for Travel

A lightweight vest perfect for summer weather. Lots of pockets although I'm not sure i can access all of them easily. Overall comfortable and well made.

Very nice vest with lots of pockets for breezing through security at the airport to store your essentials rather than having them loose in the bin.

I bought the first vest using my regular size which is large. I am 5’-8” and 175 lbs with a 42” chest. The large fits nice, I will most likely use it for travel. So I also purchased the same vest in medium, which is very form-fitting and I will most likely use every day. It looks VERY SHARP, VERY MODERN. I am in South Florida where it is hot most of the time. The vest is AWESOME! I can wear it in the heat, and in the rain 🌧️. There is a hidden feature that they don’t tell you about, but I will! See my video for hidden secrets!

I purchased this fest for a trip that I was making to Italy. I just didn’t like the look of the Crossbody bags. This vest had ample pockets to carry everything I felt I needed for the day. One added attraction is in the right hand pocket. There was an elastic band. It held a bottle of water upright. I think this was a great feature.

I had a trip coming up to Italy, and while trying to figure out the best way to carry what i needed, while also being prudent to pick pockets and skimming my cards data. I had the idea of a vest, then found the ScotteVest. This vest did everything i needed and then more. I thought it would be good for travel days, little did i know i would wear this vest everyday of my trip. It carried everything! bought some stuff at a gift shop? put it in the vest, need to carry passport and phone and wallet? put them in the vest. multiple keys for one of our hotels that had a lift key, door key, and a dead bolt key, put them all secured on the extendable cord that is in the pocket. It was stylish enough for me. I can't recommend this thing enough.

This is a well-made vest, and fit for its purpose -- but I can only recommend it with reservations (so I returned the one I bought). First, the "good news." The manufacturing quality is high, all the parts appear to be made of good materials, workmanship is excellent, and the vest runs true to size (at least for the large size that I bought). The less-good news comes next. SCOTTeVESTs are already somewhat problematic beasts. They've got many pockets, which is good. But if you actually use all those pockets, you wind up with a lumpy look that makes it obvious you're carrying stuff you're trying (or at least, wanting) to conceal. This model doubles down on that by featuring contrasting zippers -- they make it visually obvious where the external "concealment" pockets are. At least to me, this was even more obvious in person than in the listing's photographs. Given that the advertised purpose for these vests is to tuck away valuables, I can't recommend this model unless you'll wear it under a jacket or coat to provide actual concealment. The SCOTTeVEST Featherweight Vest is considerably more expensive, but much better at concealing valuables (again, so long as you don't get carried away with pocket filling).

It’s a great vest , feels very durable and comfortable, this will be my go to when I travel or be in large crowds to protect my valuables

It just arrived and haven't had a chance to test it in the field as yet. But it's well made and much lighter to wear than I thought 😃👍

This has been a cracking purchase. I can fit my iPad (in its protective case) in the inside pocket and all the other essentials in the other pockets; it makes going through security a breeze as all I have to do is take it off, put in a tray and then pick it up after it has been processed. It makes things so much easier in what can be a stressful and trying situation; I thoroughly recommend this vest! The zips all look and feel heavy duty and the vest seems to be made from a soft yet hardwearing material, I'm very impressed.

Really windproof, good fit. Good value Seems well made, as good as Carhartt, Dickies etc.
