Easy to Mix, Great for Baking and Coffee
Iโve been using this nonfat dry milk powder for a few days now, mainly for baking and coffee, and itโs been really convenient. It mixes well with warm water and doesnโt leave lumps if you stir or shake it properly. The taste is lighter than regular milk (as expected since itโs nonfat), but still good enough for recipes like pancakes, muffins, and even oatmeal. I also tried adding it to coffee, and it worked fine without any strange aftertaste. One thing I really like is the long shelf life โ itโs perfect to keep in the pantry for when you run out of fresh milk. The resealable bag is also helpful for storage. Overall, it does exactly what itโs supposed to do and is a practical option to have at home.

A good product
Nice, fine milk powder for fast dissolving. I donโt care for it reconstituted as a beverage, but love to use dry milk in cooking for a creamy taste and texture (and more nutrition) without adding more liquid. Itโs perfect in oatmeal. Recently my grocery store (calling you out, Harris Teeter) stopped carrying dry milk, so I was glad to find Judeeโs at Amazon. But really, is โgluten-freeโ necessary for a dairy product without wheat?

Great tasting lactose free powdered milk
Love this powdered milk. It dissolves quickly and tastes great. I use it for my hot chocolate mix.

Great easy to make
I make my glass with 2 -3 scoops, put my carnations packet, both dry, put in blender, very thick. Keep the powered milk in the refrigerator.. the colder the better.

Easy to mix
I add this to Overnight Slow-Cooker Steel Cut Oats just before bedtime. Throw 4 Tablespoons powdered milk to 1 cup oats to 4 cups water; turn cooker to low and voila! You will have creamy, tasty, healthy oatmeal ready to eat. I have also made a glass of lowfat milk, which mixed easily and tasted ok in a pinch(think camping). It's shelf stable for the apocalypse, easily transportable and much lighter weight than regular milk. Use it also in smoothies or creamed soups.

Great product
It worked just as expected. What I used it for produce the best caramel flavor without added sugar.

Tastes good, but it clumps!
I have tried mixing this with boiling water, with hot water, and with cold water, but whatever I do, there is lots of clumps! The part that dissolves tastes good. It tastes like fresh milk. I mixed it in a large coffee mug with boiling water. After it cooled, I drank some of it. When I rinsed the mug in my kitchen sink, there was so much clumps in it, that it clogged the kitchen drain! I would recommend mixing this in a coffee mug. If you mix it vigorously in a glass, it is possible that you will chip the glass, and you don't want to swallow a glass chip by accident. I have not tried mixing it in a blender. But I don't want to bother cleaning a huge blender to make a small amount of milk. I also tried mixing the powder alone in a cup of coffee. That tastes terrible. This has to be made into milk first before you add it to coffee or tea. I would also like to mention that this is really expensive. A small glass or a coffee mug holds around two cups, and the serving on this is one cup. So, you don't get a lot of servings out of this container.
