I find that one of the main reasons regular hex lugs get scratched is ill-fitting wrenches which slip and slide across the surface of the lug. You will get none of that with these lugs. The key for the lugs has a section for a 3/4" wrench and one for a 13/16" wrench. I would suggest using the 13/16" since it is closer to the middle of the key, and is a larger diameter. I don’t like nuts made of nylon ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value & Long Lasting *by G***M on December 9, 2013* Glad they shipped me 21 on accident instead of 20, because one of them cross threaded and was ruined. It wasn't a problem with my wheel stud as the threads on the stud were ok and the next lug went on just fine. It wasn't put on crooked either. A possible quality control issue? I had a set of the chrome gorilla lugs that lasted me a good 5 years before I decided they were getting too ugly and worn so I replaced them with these black ones. I expect another 5 years or so, but I'm not sure how long the black finish will last. They look good and no issues so far. Considering the cost for that type of service length, they still get a 5/5 from me.
