We have tried a handful of shampoos for our doodle and have settled on this shampoo along with a conditioner as our final pick. While we could use an array of products such as maintenance washes, deep washes, deodorizing washes, etc. it's just too much to have around as a non-groomer. Therefore we have settled on this setup. First, it starts with this citrus wash, which is excellent for degreasing AND deodorizing. This shampoo does strip our dog of all oils (and odors) so it is imperative to follow up with a conditioner so-as to not induce dry skin and dander. We love the natural light smell this shampoo offers. The dilution is maybe a bit questionable in my option, it would require maybe a triple wash to be effective. Generally I add this 1:0 or 1:1 with water in our soap dispensing sprayer. At that high concentration it's easy to produce a nice thick lather, work it into her coat and rinse. Second is the conditioning which is pretty self explanatory. This conditioner also offers a really nice scent without being artificial or over bearing. The dilution ration here seems to work a lot better, the conditioner in our case lasts a lot longer than a gallon of shampoo. The quality of this conditioner shines through with a silky feeling coat (as much as it can be with a doodle) as well as reduced itching and dander. Last we have a detangling spray that we use as more of a fragrance to extend her washes and cover up mild odors. That scent is also mild and very pleasant. We spray that on and brush it in for a lasting refresh. Maybe the most important part of the regiment is our high velocity drier which rapidly speeds up drying and gets her completely dry all while fluffing and separating each fur/hair preventing mats. It's an expensive investment but necessary for this whole process in my opinion. We love the Bark2Basics products! Our sensitive-skin retriever has never had any issues with them. This oatmeal conditioner smells great and helps keep his coat soft and skin irritation-free. A great choice for dogs with dry or itchy skin.

Great stuff for both my dogs. It really helps their coats look better, at least to me. And with 2 hairy beasts a gallon is the best option!

First time buying the combo set which includes the shampoo and conditioner for a slightly cheaper price. I like this series because it’s Engle on my doodle’s skin. I have to barhe him weekly because he goes to daycare and stinks afterwards. This leaves him smelling fresh and doesn’t dry him out with the weekly bathing.

This is a great conditioner with a subtle oatmeal smell. We have a lab mix and a corgi mix and works great.

I groom dogs, and really like this. It's smell is good. If it had a stronger coconut smell and added vanilla to it, it would be amazing! It leaves the coat oft and silky.

This is so good I get it shipped from USA to U.K. My doodle has sensitive skin but I want him very clean so wash him two or three times a week. I use this conditioner about every 4th wash ( as it costs me so much) . His skin loves it and it has a gentle clean fragrance … leaves his fur soft. I always use it before I clip him as it makes it easy to comb him. I love it !!!!
