## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many turns for the idle and mixer screw to be set right?**
A: there is no air gas and mixture screw, only the idle mixture screw and then an idle speed/stop screw. This screw is located next to the throttle shaft and linkage of the carb and only controls air at idle. To set this screw you turn it in until it just contacts the throttle shaft, then turn it in another 1/2 to 1 full turn. This is only to get the engine running. Once you have the engine running and warmed up you then set the idle mixture screw as stated previously, then you adjust your idle speed screw to achieve desired idle RPM. I usually try and keep it between 700 and 900 RPM depending on the engine.

Check everything on the carb before installing

I'm redoing this review, this is my second one. The first one the gas inlet fell out. The second one is doing great. FAIR WARNING TO ANYONE that is considering on buying this carb needs to check everything on it before installing. I am using it on a 1p39qmb 50cc scooter (jazzie) and I have the manifold that is working with it. It works wonderfull. Forget the gy6 carbs.... there nothing but a rip off. I have bought 10 in the past 3 years of owning my bike. Those carbs ain't worth s***. Spend the money on this carb and the manifold and do a Lil adjustment and do a Lil cutting. Trust me I did it and I'm so happy with it. Plus it if does mess up contact amazon and they will replace it. I been there and did that.
