3 PK of deliciousness
These products are top notch. My Best friend and I cooked all three, Taco, sloppy Joe and Korean BBQ on her foody FB page. I have bought all 3 in 3 pks and have shared with my nephew , who tries to eat vegetarian/vegan as much as possible. My husband and son who are self professed carnivores have even come to realize that a vegan product or meat substitute can be delicious. The FB page, All things food , savory and sweet, has three videos showcases how to make them and then the yummy ways we make them up in tacos, bowls and yummy sandwich. Urban Accents has made this girl believe that meatless products can and are delicious and can be used in many different ways.

Great to use for a quick dinner
I have purchased several flavors of Urban Accents Meatless Mixes. Our family has several that we all enjoy. They put dinner on the table in minutes. The sloppy joe flavor is unique and delicious. I think the price is good as well. Great to keep in pantry for days you are rushed to get dinner on the table or just want to put together an easy meal.

Urban Accents Korean BarbecueโAn excellent source of vegan protein
Itโs a tastyโmeatโ substitute you can eat for a midday meal. I use a Kaiser Roll, which I slice and toast, then prepare with a tsp or so of Sweet Baby Rayโs Barbecue Sauce, then add roughly a tablespoon of the mix prepared according to the directions on the package before biting into the โsandwich.โ

Prepare it this way! (flavor and texture improvement)
Preparing per instructions is quick but gets you a mushy, lightly flavored but not so appealing dish. You can do better. I bought this for the low-calorie count, I am not vegan or vegetarian.Flavor: replace the water with beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke.Texture: After the "meat" absorbs the hot broth you have the equivalent of soggy Grape Nuts, here is the fix: put the "meat" on a silicone baking mat covered cookie sheet. roast/broil the meat to lower the amount of water in it. (I like mine on the edge of burnt). Add in some tomato paste, maybe a tiny bit of water if it is hard to combine. Without the tomato paste you just a bunch of tiny rolling balls running wild everywhere. Note: I prepare this and use it for lunches all week, if you are doing the onion/peppers and not eating it all right away, then do the veggies separate and keep them in a separate container until you plate (or bun) them. Total calories mix total 360, broth +20, tomato paste 1/2 can 3oz +70 = 450 total. About 1/3 the calories of ground beef.Cons: This makes me gassy. I don't know how vegans can stand to be in the same room with each other.

So Good
Urban Accents Sloppy Joe Meatless mix is so good. I followed most of the recipe with a small deviation in adding minced garlic and being in the southwest, added green chilis. The result was fantastic. So glad I have more packages. With a green salad, a well balanced and tasty meal. I am so glad I found this product. Will definitely buy more and look for other products by Urban Accents.
