Poles are in two 4' sections that are held together only by tiny pin screws. Light mount itself is attached to the pole with two more tiny thumb screws. As I said, everything is made of very soft metal. Bolts and screw heads can strip easily, so install with a delicate hand. Make sure you have properly sized tools.I have little confidence that they will survive big or persistent winds. Even a child leaning or pulling on them could easily cause them to bend or break.
