Are these made in America from products produced in America?

I just received another package. Stamped along with the date code it says "Made In China". My dog loves these. General rule of thumb, if something IS actually made in America you can bet that will be prominently displayed on the package.

Does anyone know if these are safely back on the market? Amazon sent an email saying they were contaminated about 2 months ago.

I will take Michael’s last comment, although 4 years ago, with a grain of salt. I’m a skeptic, especially when a conglomerate is accused of being philanthropic. C’mon, folks, ask a veterinarian what’s what, ask several, bc that’s who’s got the skinny, and THAT’S how you make your decision, in this case.

Yes has to have expectation dates from 6/1/2019 to 5/31/2020 and it’s only a voluntary recall because no issues have been found. The compound is an anti-microbial chemical that is approved for cleaning food processing equipment. But it has not been approved in the U.S. as a processing aid in the production of rawhide chews for dogs. So when cleaning equipment may have some of chimecal left and gets into dog treat or food.
