Not only did it arrive the very next day, but it also worked flawlessly right out of the box. Throughout the day, I received multiple compliments on how great I looked, which was a wonderful confidence boost. I'm not sure if I did something wrong assembling the product or what is exactly going on. But I received my product yesterday and used it. It worked as advertised and I had no major complaints. Less than a minute for it to heat up, pretty simple, the steam got rid of wrinkles and freshened up my clothes. All good, right? I turn it off and leave the room and there is a massive puddle of water underneath this product. I can't find any reviewers saying that they encountered this problem as well. I would like to know what exactly is going on and how to resolve it. My 3 star review is just a place holder, if I figure out what is going on and it no longer leaks it is an easy 4-5 star product. If I don't, it will be a 1-2 star product. Edit: I took everything apart to find where the leak was coming from. And as soon as water enters the device it begins to leak. It was like this when it showed up. After doing some more research on clothes steamers it is clear that this product is poorly/cheaply made and they gave a bunch of people discounts to write reviews. I've seen very few products with reviews this high and with each reviewer offering such kind generous words. I was hesitant at first but a $60 to get out of doing laundry, it was worth further investigation. Most of these reviews were written by people who received a discount or some form of compensation. This review was just written by a dude that hates ironing his clothes who got duped. Cheaply made in China. I would take a photo of a puddle beneath this unit, but I don't feel like cleaning it up again. Edit #2: Customer service promptly called and offered a full refund and a replacement unit, which is great. Except that instead of a replacement clothes steamer, I got a "Trym II - Rechargeable Modern Hair Clipper Kit". So after all of this I got a full refund and a beard trimmer that I didn't ask for. Last edit (I hope): So I called customer service and offered to send back the beard trimmer, which they told me to keep and that they would send me a replacement unit free of cost as promised. The replacement unit arrives and it works as promised, it's not the most high end unit and I wouldn't leave it out if my in-laws were coming... but it works well enough and most importantly, the replacement unit did not leak.

I first want to start off saying that I was very skeptical of how a fabric steamer would work for me and my lifestyle. I have been looking into purchasing one for years but never thought that the results they would produce would be good enough for my dress shirts for work etc… Boy was I wrong! I am kicking myself for dealing with ironing and wrinkled clothing for all these years when I should have pulled the trigger and purchased this device a long time ago! Steaming my clothes before I leave for work has become a daily ritual and part of my routine! The results leave my clothes looking like they were just picked up from the cleaners or freshly ironed in about 3 minutes! This device has saved me so much time and agony the past 2 weeks that Ive owned it and I am extremely happy with the speed at which it begins to generate steam! I just plug it in and turn it on and within 30 seconds I’m able to begin steaming! No mess, no burns, no moving clothes all different directions on an ironing board to get all the wrinkles out! I can’t believe how nicely the clothes look after i’m done! The quality of this unit is great! Assembly took 5 minutes and was a cinch! The water tank lasts me about a week using it daily! I really have no gripes at all about this unit. The PureSteam XL has literally changed my life for the better and I have been raving about it to all my co-workers, family, and friends. If you guys are having second thoughts about this don’t! Just buy it and you will be so happy that you can start your day or freshen up your clothes mid day in just a minutes! It really is great and works as advertised! You have a very satisfied customer so far and I look forward to using this device regularly. Thanks for creating such a wonderful, easy to use product!

I bought this because it had good reviews and I was looking for something affordable and easy to move around. I am writing this review after using the unit daily for two months. I really dislike this steamer. Who designs a cup with a round bottom? These people. If you look at the photos, you can see the top of the water basin is round. So when you remove it to add your DI water you have to hold the reservoir and manage to pour from a gallon DI bottle. It requires 3 hands. Second issue, the stand isn’t very tall and the cord crimps when you move the handle down, makes loud noises, and stops producing steam. I had to get a rack to hang the clothes from a higher vertical position. Pants, dresses, or long tops aren’t viable with this unit. Third, you can see in the photos there is a hanger with clips. The clips aren’t capable of holding any weight, so you will need to buy your own clips. Fourth, when the unit does produce steam it is intermittent and produces a significant amount of spray leaving water spots on your clothes. Fifth, it only works on a narrow range of fabrics. I’ve owned other brands and only on rare occasions needed to pull out my iron. I now need my iron daily. It has basically doubled my wotk time (I have an online clothing store). I hate spending unnecessary money, but I’m going to have to buy a different unit. I’m not a reviews giver, but I am tired of being angry about this daily and you deserve to know. The advertising is correct this unit is easy to move around. That is the only thing I like about this unit.

While the base unit shows promise in terms of construction, several critical design flaws and quality issues with the accessories made it non-functional for my needs, ultimately leading to a return. Build Quality and Initial Impressions The main steamer unit itself has a good build. It feels substantial and well-constructed, which gave me confidence upon unboxing. The 1/2-gallon water tank provides a decent amount of steaming time, and the unit heats up quickly as advertised. Key Design Flaws: The Pipe and Hanger Despite the sturdy base, the user-facing components are where the product fails: Rigid Steam Hose: The pipe/hose is extremely rigid and does not bend easily. When trying to steam garments, the lack of flexibility makes it very difficult to reach different angles or move the steam head smoothly across the fabric. It felt like I was fighting the machine rather than using it. Cheaply Made Hanger: The included hanger felt very cheaply made. It lacked the sturdiness required to hold heavier garments and did not feel like it was designed to last. Performance and Conclusion Ultimately, the steamer did not work as intended. While it produces steam, the physical limitations of the rigid hose and the flimsy hanger make the actual process of removing wrinkles frustrating and inefficient. Because the ergonomics and accessories were so poor, I had to return the unit. For a "professional" steamer at this price point, I expected better flexibility and higher-quality attachments.

I have now owned and used the PureSteam XL for 3 weeks and I can honestly say it is the best steamer I have owned. I used a no-name steamer and then a Salav for many years, which I thought were good. That recently konked out due to calcium/mineral build up, but my hope is that using purified or distilled water will help with that universal problem. For starters, I love the low profile of the PureSteam XL- it's about as sleek as they get. The large indicator light in front is so handy so I know when the machine is on at a quick glance. The provided hanger is exactly the setup that is needed with a steamer-other versions I've seen are unusable and I would end up just using a hanger from my closet (don't change a thing with that). No complaints about the handle. And nice touch with the wheels in case I need to move this bad boy a short distance. The reservoir seems small, however I have not needed to refill for almost a month so I'm impressed with the high efficiency of the steam. Speaking of which only takes about 30 seconds to get to full flow! I am amazed by that. Just a few minor areas for improvement: The hose works perfect but I wouldn't mind another foot of length and the switch would be better placed on the front-it's already a hassle to reach down and prevents older folks from having access to this great product. I also would prefer the hole on the reservoir to be closer to the edge or possibly even shape the reservoir differebtly for easier filling in a bathroom sink which usually has low clearance/space. After the death of my last steamer, I recommend using purified or distilled water to avoid mineral build up and corrosion.
