## Description

From the manufacturer Italeri Italeri's history begins in the first half of the 1960s in Bologna. The company was born from the passion of the two founders, Giuliano Malservisi and Gian Pietro Parmeggiani who, since they were young, love aircraft and military vehicles. From demanding modelers they are no longer satisfied with what is on the market, in a market that is still thriving and dynamic and progressively expanding, but decide to convey their passion and their search for detail in their daily work. The first trade name of the company, officially founded in 1962, is "Italstamp" and the first kit put on the market, under the brand "Aliplast", is a 1/72 scale model of the Italian Fiat G-55 fighter. After about ten years the business name of the company becomes "Italaerei" and then become, through a small phonetic contraction, the definitive "Italeri". The company's logo, consisting of two red and green vertical bands and a stylized frontal logo of a propeller aircraft, identifies the strong vocation for Italianity and experience in the production of aircraft scale models. This is an excleent model in all respects. Well fitting parts. Easy to build. As the colours of the plastic parts are the same as paints listed I did not need to paint any of the components and the result is very pleasing.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not perfect but the best available (I think)

Like my title says, this model isn’t perfect, but it is probably the best scooter model available. It has some strange details missing in some areas and impressive details in others, bizarre cable routing and a number of poor fitting parts but, with some filling and fettling, you can be left with (imho) a pretty decent looking model. This was actually my first build in about forty (yike!) years and after looking at some of the results on YouTube, I wasn’t expecting great results so I was really pleased with how it turned out and, if you are willing to put some work in, I would def recommend this kit. (Just to point out, I also added some lights which don’t come in the kit) Update. Now building my second one and, as before, has been a case of filling and sanding to get parts to fix (Have added more pics to show what I mean) Fortunately, for me, I was always going to be doing a bit of chopping and changing to this model (seat/rear lights/etc) so it was just part of the build.
