It works awesomely. My bird bath is in full sun so it gets tons of power from the solar panel. It actually works a little too powerfully. My bird bath is only 12in wide and water sprinkles out the whole time it's on, which makes it so I have to add water constantly. Not too mention the panel is just too large for such a small bowl. I'm afraid I'm going to have to return it and look for something smaller and less powerful but there's nothing at all wrong with the actual unit.

This has been the best little water fountain I have ever used. It works great. Definitely worth the money. I got it for my bird bath and love it. Keeps the water moving from sun up to sun down.

Nice little solar fountain! Easy to assemble, has a lot of different spout options, and actually has some solid power behind it when in full sun. That being said - as advertised - it does NOT work (at all) when not in sun. You can see in this video that even when I stand in front of it, casting a shadow, it stops working. Sometimes if it’s in partial shade it’ll give little spurts here and there but otherwise doesn’t work at all. I do wish it had some kind of battery life/storage to keep it working for a bit after the sun goes away. Worth the price though in my opinion!

This was a nice fountain for about a month. I loved its versatility with the variety of spouts. It was easy to set up and was ready to go within minutes. I also liked that it shut itself down when there was no sun except the fact on cloudy days it also shut itself down. I wish it worked on cloudy days and shut down at night when it’s actually dark. After about a month of use it stopped working. I cleaned it changed the filter washed things out and it still isn’t working. So I won’t be purchasing it again.

This is so easy to use and works really well. It’s quiet has stoppers to keep it from the side keeping it stable and from emptying your vessel, the water flow is excellent. It also has 7 flow patterns.

I have got this a few times now I have one in my bird bath and one in my swimming pool they work really well but they only last about a year due to constant water flow but it is definitely worth it for the price

Hopefully this helps someone! This product DOES NOT WORK IN THE SHADE. 100% it quits working if it’s not in DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Otherwise, it’s great. I set up my bird bath right next to my home so it’s constantly in the shade and the motor on the fountain won’t run so I have to use it in my backyard where the sun will be hitting it all day (south facing), and I had to purchase a plug in fountain where I planned on using this one so…yeah. Make sure you’re aware of that before purchasing. I have a solar powered set of lights that get charged by the sun and then turn on and off during the time of day. This fountain is not set up like that unfortunately; it’s very simple. When it is working, it’s really cute and the water pressure is perfect for a small to medium size bird bath and it’s nice that it comes with multiple spraying nozzles so you can choose how you want it to look. When I placed it out in direct sun the little birds were coming up to check it out so the sound of running water does attract them! I recommend it if you plan to have your bird bath in DIRECT SUNLIGHT all day.

This item is excellent. The fountain is around 1 feet high. Highly recommended and the birds love it.

I liked the durability and design and also the working of this. Please keep in mind that this is a Chinese product that works purely on solar energy. If it doesn't work somehow doesn't mean it's faulty it might be the case of less sunlight availability. So do check it in full sunlight for optimum performance.
